We are staying in the superior view mountain room. The views from the room and hotel are stunning and make you want to stay here all day! The room itself is convenient, clean and large. There are flying insects everywhere but I don’t think we can blame the hotel for that! The owners are very warm but did not really speak English. We had a punctured tyre and they immediately helped us without a second thought. Food options are limited but actually pretty good! Overall, we are very happy with this resort, especially considering it’s 2 star status.

This hotel is great. We arrived late in the day and our rental car (1200cc) barely made it. The road was extremely steep and narrow. Make sure to rent a more powerful car. We didn't want to park next to the rooms for fear of not being able to drive up the next day. The staff (owner?) drove us and the suit cases down to our room. He gave us his phone number just in case we needed him to come and get us. We walked up to the restaurant later and another staff (Hom) was especially wonderful. We asked about dessert but they didn't have any on the menu. She came back later and offered us her own dessert (for free). We really appreciated this act of kindness. What an amazing host! The view from the rooms are great! I didn't mention that we were upgraded to AC room. If you have a car and want to experience a different part of Thailand, this is a good area. The tea plantations can be seen from the rooms. We were happy to have come here.

This resort is GREAT. The staff went on extra miles to pick us up and drop us off in Chiang Rai and we even extended one more night. Our flight got delayed and the host offered to pick us up at the airport with no cost. It was so nice of them. They even let us use their motorbike to explore the mountain. I got an upgrade to the Air Con room too! The host can speak good Chinese and English. The room itself was great too, we lived in Block A and it facing the amazing view. The breakfast option was limited but it was good. We ate at their restaurant for dinner and the food is great too. It is an hour away from Chiang Rai airport. They are building more room on site. We would be back and definitely, would recommend anyone visit this resort.

Just a regular resort with good view and the view is not that nice. The room that can have best view is only type A room as you can see the sunrise in the morning. The other room can’t. They do not have actual lock, only a knob that cannot lock. Some room has no remote for tv some room has no remote for a/c and some room the hot water maker is not working. Anyway, you can call the front and a staff will come to fix things up. It’s hardly to walk from the room to the front or to the resort’s restaurant. You might need a motorbike or a car due to the steep slope. The staff is nice enough but not helpful. We have to ask and follow up many times then we can get what we ask for.

This was my second stop in Thailand and what a stop it was. It was the most peaceful, romantic, and relaxing place I had been to in Thailand thus far. The view was breathtaking, the simplicity was intoxicating, and the people were friendly. It was just a room with a view, but that was all I needed and wanted. No complaints whatsoever. Pro-tip: You will want to rent a car to come here, it's waaay up in the mountains.
