We stayed here for a week in June. We were given a room 34, which had no shower (the only room in the establishment with no shower just a tub). The receptionist was helpful and changed our room. The rooms are small, kitchen very tiny - no space to work. There are too many rules especially if you on vacation. REMEMBER - to take your own towels because they only change towels once a week, which was very strange unlike other resorts we visited. The road leading to the resort is dodgy with many beggars and homeless people hanging around so you cant walk to the beach or even walk in the area. USE your car. The room next to our room had a problem with their bathroom plumbing which stank up the entire place. The pool was dirty. This is by far the worst resort we have ever stayed at and they are apart of RCI group so thats disturbing.…

We really enjoyed the stay, staff were very friendly, units and the grounds were clean. Please confirm accessibility as there are 1st and 2nd floor units and some stairs are quite steep. Units a very spacious and despite being a little outdated, units are generally in good condition.We also found the beds to be rather firm for our liking. Only real inconvenience is a lack of a laundry service on the property that is available to guests.

Great place to stay on the south coast. Close to many beaches. Accommodation is very comfortable. The bedrooms have aircon which helps with the heat. There are also some activities to keep the kids occupied at the resort.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. Is a nice place to get away from the city. The area is quite, closer to a beach and safe to be at. Most things are a walk distance. I enjoy my stay.

Stayed with extended family across 3 rooms and from the booking to the service to the cleaning staff and the amenities it was great. The resort is situated in a very convenient spot accessible to the beaches around the area and off the main road where you can find a convenience store and other restaurants. All in all we had a great trip and the icing on the service cake was I forgot something in the safe after I had left and when I called the manager he immediately responded and secured it for me and even made it sure it got back to me. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Staff were awesome. Resort needs upgrading and maintenance. Do not do maintenance like painting, re-doing gardens etc in peak Dec time. Make another plan with the route taken with the luggage / rubble trolleys - maybe walk around the units and not in between them. Do not take unit 35 noise is awful and parking lot view from patio not nice and no privacy with people walking past all the time.

We had the very rewarding opportunity to stay at Uvongo river resort for a midweek breakaway and what a pleasure to report that it was the best midweek breakaway we had in a long time. Very friendly staff and employees from booking in to booking out. Well maintained units and clean and well kept gardens make this place my new breakaway destination. The accommodation was lovely. My kids enjoyed the many activities and facilities that they found inside the Resort. The mini golf, the pool (they love swimming) and the play area provided great entertainment for them. We are definitely coming back.
