It's enough to make any urban dweller green with envy: A place where you can breath clean air, explore a lush landscape, and sleep under the stars just a 30-minute ride outside the teeming, traffic-choked city center -- by public transportation, no less -- without giving up all the comforts of home. Guests at the new Bangkok Tree House can whisk themselves away from the Thai capital and its 12 million people by hopping on a recently completed extension of the city's elevated-rail network, the BTS Skytrain, to the Bangna station and then continuing on by foot, bicycle, or boat.

Excellent stay. Wonderful staff and brilliant location. The nature oasis in the middle of Bangkok is a definite visit when in Bangkok. The rooms are lovely and quaint with a relaxing backdrop of light lush garden and river views. Amenities are great - try the Pad Thai…

Most romantic hotel experience in Bangkok! Took the ferry across at the Wat Bang Na Nok and rode bikes to the hotel (you can walk to hotel, bring your own bike, or rent after getting off ferry...hotel also has bikes once you arrive). Rooms are very exotic and the shower was amazing! Great food! A+++++++ Highly recommended riding bikes around the area. Lots to see and do. Many cool places to eat all around!

Cafes and organic restaurants that everyone who comes to relax. It is very beautiful to design shop looks modern, but perfectly coexists with nature. The surrounding atmosphere is very good, with forest, water and wind blowing all day. You can sit and enjoy the breeze on the deck or sit in the air-conditioned room. As for the menu, it focuses on serving Thai fusion style with a charming blend of cultures and the best dish must be given Spaghetti Pad Thai is super intense The flavors go together very well.

Just spent a wondrous night nestled in the palms at the Bangkok Tree House on Bang Krachao, Bangkok’s “green lung,” 16 square kilometers of mangroves, parks and elevated bike paths, just a short taxi or ferry ride from the city. The 10-room vertical resort and restaurant is on the edge of the Chao Phraya River in a sparsely populated community that is popular with Thai residents on weekends…and empty on weekdays. The Tree House’s hand-crafted wood-and-bamboo residences are connected by a boardwalk winding above a tidal forest. Water flows beneath each abode’s elevated outdoor showers which are stocked with locally made natural-ingredients soaps and shampoos. Bedrooms, with polished wood floors and earth-tone fabrics and walls, are perched in the palms. Rooftop decks are practically in the clouds. The staff is friendly, yet unobtrusive. A Thai or Western breakfast, bicycles to explore and a boat ride to Bang Krachao’s firefly spawning grounds is included in the room price. Fruit juices and beer are served on ever-ascending decks at sunset. Dinner offerings include ma hor (galloping horses), a traditional sweet-sour-salty appetizer of crushed peanuts, shallots, coriander and palm sugar served on slices of fresh pineapple, as well as summer watermelon salad, and lightly breaded deep-fried shrimp served with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions in a sweet tamarind sauce. Bang Krachao is a great getaway; a mass of mangroves mostly connected by bikeways and canals. And, Bangkok Tree House in the midst of it all. Birds caw from the branches at dawn. Water monitor lizards – visible through the residences’ glass-covered floors – slither silently through the water beneath. Longtail boats purr in the distance. It’s a peaceful place to escape and enjoy the clean, super-oxygenated air.

I went during holiday (Oct. 13) to Bangkrachao - a small islet which is part of Bangkok. Biking inside the islet is super good if you have good leg muscles😆. One of the famous coffee shops is Bangkok Tree House, a good place to chill, taking photos is ok for your social media, one thing is that, this shop sells food with a bit high price, to me, food wise and quality didn’t really reach the standard of your payment. If I were to compare this to other shops who sells with the same amount but with high end ingredients and superb taste. Overall, the time we were there was good enough to chill and rest.

We simply cannot understand why this restaurant has such good reviews. First of all: it is hard to find and you have to walk along a narrow footpath with rubbish on both sides. Once you are at the restaurant you find out that you have to place your order at the cashier and the food is truly not worth mentioning.

We only had one night in Bangkok and we don't recommend to stay in this hotel. First of all it is really difficult to get to the place and when we got there the staff was not really welcoming, if you don't speak Thai you are lost at this location. The room was okay there are no furniture to sit or to put your luggage on, no safe to put the belongings in which we didn't feel comfortable with. They are supposed to be a green hotel but there is trash everywhere underneath the cabines and around the hotel. Since there are trees around they should isolate the cabines more because of insects that crawl in. We wanted to go to the downtown Bangkok and we asked the reception how to get there and they had no idea whatsoever which was really annoying because we had to find out ourselves which took us a boat, a taxi, a sky train and a tuktuk. On the way back to the place we couldn't get to the place even the taxi driver didn't know it so we had to call the security and he picked us up and we walked for 10 minutes. It didn't feel safe for us. We just don't recommend this place and it's not worth the money.

We stayed in the tree top nest for 1 night and absolutely loved our stay! It was only $0.13 USD to cross the ferry (4 baht) and it's a little get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok itself! Def would recommend a stay here!

Despite what they advertise on their website and online there are no vegan options. They have a vegetarian menu but every dish contains egg or fish says and it was explained to us that it could not be removed. You should know this before you come. My vegan friends had a smoothie which was nice and that’s it. No food review, sorry!

The location is easy to find, the room is very warm, clean and tidy facilities are complete, the living is very comfortable, the boss is enthusiastic service attitude is good and very kind! I am very happy to have fun on the trip. I hope that I can have the chance again next time and come to your home. The most important thing is that the price is good and worth recommending to my friends.
