Excellent from start to finish. Collection from the hotel to the lodge with fantastic service from start to finish. The lodge and staff are fantastic, serving awesome tasting food without trying to be pretentious. Rooms were all we needed for our one night stay and bed was huge and comfortable. The safari’s we find were both amazing, one being going into sunset z as no one in thd morning just after sunrise. Without giving anything away all I can say is book it and have a look at my pics for a guide. Our driver Dirk was so knowledgeable and nothing was a problem for him. We will be back.

Loved every minute of our stay here. Rooms are great and very clean. Food was simple but very, very good and you could choose something different if you wanted. The staff were excellent, very helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Dirk our Ranger for the Safari's was excellent at his job. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals, birds, snakes and insects. Would definitely visit again.

Brilliant time at Leopard Song fantastic game drives during our stay and managed to see everything we wanted to. Really informative commentary by Ingrid she was a fantastic Ranger and did all she could to ensure we had a great game drive. The staff at this lodge are fantastic very helpful and professional. The food at the lodge is also great and they will try and accommodate where possible for dietary requirements if they are aware in advance. Loved our 2 night stay here and would definitely return in the near future. Don’t miss out on this little hidden gem!!

Third time stay here and it just gets better. We stayed four nights and had the best time. We were three adults and three kids and everyone enjoyed themselves. Very relaxed lodge, not much to do in the day- which we liked. Lots of time together and to chill. Game drives were brilliant. Dirk the guide was fantastic! Great with our children. Very knowledgable. Great food, but samey after 4 nights but we’ll eat anything so we don’t mind. Will definitely be returning for a fourth visit!

Excellent place to visit not far from Pretoria or Johannesburg. Accommodation is clean, tidy and very comfortable. All the staff are really friendly and accommodating to individual needs. Food is very good. You won’t go hungry at all. Game Drives: Make sure you are on a vehicle with Therese or Mynardt. They will go out of there way to ensure you have a time of your life. Just remember, it’s the real deal out there and not a zoo. Animal sightings are never a guarantee. Therese and Mynardt’s knowledge about anything out in the bush is endless. They will share as much of their knowledge as you want to. Don’t be afraid to ask them anything. Try and go for 3-4 nights if possible. The peacefulness will do you wonders.

Holly and I stayed two nights and had the most incredible experience. Eric and the team at the lodge can’t do enough for you! We though we might struggle as vegans but the team made sure we were catered for. The rangers couldn’t be more knowledgable. Would recommend to anyone.

What a fantastic experience! We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights enjoying the hospitality of Leopardsong, how incredible! The staff were wonderful and made us feel so welcome, Eric especially went beyond the call of duty to help us when one of my sons was poorly during the drive there. Our ranger Therese was absolutely brilliant. She took us out on 6 game drives and made each one unique and interesting. My 3 sons would make sure we were there early to ensure we could ride with her! She was so knowledgeable about the animals and area and shared he passion with great enthusiasm. Absolutely loved our visit- can’t wait to come back! Thank you.

Lucky enough to have just spent a couple of nights at the fantastic Leopardsong Game Lodge again. Haven’t been able to visit for a couple of years so it was wonderful to go back. It really is a fabulous place where you are looked after like family. Special mention to the brilliant F Therese Smit who makes each game drive an experience not to be forgotten with her incredible knowledge, ability to spot animals nobody else can see and in depth knowledge of poo! She is a great scatologist! 😄💩 We were lucky enough to see buffalo, rhino, lion and elephant. It was great to be reacquainted with Tiny Tim again😄🐘 Seeing these magnificent creatures so close up, in their own environment is just magical, especially when you are close to lions who start to vocalise. The sound reverberates right through you. This really is a wonderful place where you can relax in the comfortable accommodation, take in the real African experience during the game drives then discuss all you have seen over a fabulous evening meal followed by drinks and further chat around the fire. If you get the chance put this place top of your list for a real safari experience within 90 minutes of Johannesburg.

3rd visit to this gem of South Africa. Short 1hr 15mins from central Johannesburg. On arrival, complete contrast to bustling city, quiet, serenity of the African Bush is transformative. Wonderful warm welcome from all the staff who are genuinely enthusiastic to host and delight in every department. The lodge is simple but surprisingly welcome with freeranging zebra, Nyala and others to tease of what's to come. Rooms are extremely "homely" and more than comfortable with a/c for the humidity of summer and although stocked with insect repellant rarely aware of same. Dinokeng Park is Wonderful. With the expert knowledge of the lodge guide and the extremely capable vehicle, have had the most amazing of encounters on every drive. Safari being what it is, but always seem to have that slice of luck needed! I visit SA regularly and cannot imagine not going to Leopard Song Lodge, it would feel like an incomplete trip! Even a brief visit will have you hooked forever.
