We had a room with a sea view upstairs. The room was beautiful, spotless. The staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely. The view was incredible. We saw a baby seal on the beach make his way back into the sea at sunrise. We have stayed here before and will definitely return again to this very special place.

We are just back from a nights stay with our children and we had an absolutely amazing time. John looked after us in the bar and is an absolute gentleman. He was so patient with everyone he served and brilliant with the kids. Our room was a garden view, roasting hot and spotlessly clean. The children loved the Christmas decorations. Can't wait for our next visit. The Nolan family

This is our second visit to the shoreline hotel .we first came in sept 21 for 3 night stay we loved the location and hotel itself is lovely but service in dining room is absolutely shocking ! The first time we were here service was slow but it seemed there was a shortage of staff as reception seemed to be doing everything we booked again for my parteners 70 birthday 5 till 7 of November we were very disappointed this time we were ushered to our table for dinner on the night of arrival and given menus no body cane to take our order for 20 mins we waited another half hour before we got our food again no one came to see if everything was ok or if we needed drinks we paid our bill and no one asked if everything was alright .breakfast the next morning was no better we were taken to our seat and the menu put in front of us we were not told to help ourselves to the cereal etc or asked if we wanted tea / coffee there was three young girls in the restaurant serving but spent more time talking amoung themselves than looking after the few customers that were there .we waited 45 minutes at the table before a waitress came to us and asked if we were ok I told her we were still waiting on our order been taken she apologized took our order and after half an hour we got our breakfast .the evening meal we had booked for 7:15 again we were taken to a table and given menus we ordered a drink but it was 35 minutes later before we got it ,after 15 more minutes a waitress finally came to take our order my partener ordered onion rings with his burger After a long wait we finally got our meal but no onion rings the waitress said the chef would put them on but we would have to wait ...we told her it didn't matter as we wanted them with our meal not after we had eaten it .again no one came to ask is everything ok I paid the bill and again wasn't asked if everything was ok and it was the bar manager who took the payment again he stood about chatting and laughing with the staff instead of seeing that they attended the customer .very bad management and staff are definitely not trained up properly ,we had suggested to my two daughters to bring their kids here for Santa overnight stay but have since rang them and told them about the service here and not to bother booking as I can only imagine how chaotic that will be !! Beautiful hotel fantastic location but extremely bad management ,in future we will book room only and will nip in to donabate for breakfast roll and a take away for our evening meal where we can enjoy it in the comfort of our room !
