We stayed at Pax Guest House March 2018. It was our first time in Ireland. John and his staff pay attention to detail so well, that we were shocked when our preferences were accommodated without even asking for them. We stayed at the Top of the House Room, and it was the most

Pax Guest House was the absolute best place we stayed at during our road trip around Ireland. We stayed in six different top of the line hotels and none of them compared to the hospitality, experience and views that we experienced at Pax House. John and his staff were such a

Your best bet to help select the room that is right for you is to email the owner, John O’Farrell through the Pax House website with your dates. He helped me choose the first year I stayed with him. I’ve stayed there twice (in November). I don’t think you can go wrong with any room at Pax House. There are great views from the lounge for all guests and a terrace that is accessible from the lounge. But... if you have a sea view room, you could turn off your lights at night to see the view with no reflections in glass windows... If you want a terrace room, you may be visible while in your room (with the blinds open) to other guests walking on the lawn. But I’m not sure about that. It was always something I considered when selecting a room. For that reason, I myself would probably opt for the Top of the House room given the rooms you are considering.
