We had an awesome experience in the Cap classique tasting Room. Excellent bubbles and Elzette our hostess not only loves her wines and farm but truly loves her guests.
We also decided to taste the wines at the wine tasting room a few steps away. Leandi treated us to a great tasting experience as well also the view over the vineyard xtra ordinary

We were a group of 4 that have been to a few wine establishments as we are on a wine course to broaden our knowledge of the industry. We were on the Chardonnay tour and were very pleasantly surprised and our guide, Donovan, was great. He is very knowledgeable and passionate. The tour itself was awesome and beautifully presented. Ended of with the champagne tasting. Thank you!

There I something special about staying on a wine farm and Weltevrede is no exception. Situated just outside Bonnievale this farm has 4 wonderful quaint Cape Dutch cottages overlooking the vineyards. Onse Huisie is the quaintest of the cottages - a tiny slave cottage converted to a house. It's ideal for a romantic couple but it has only one drawback and that is that it is close to the main road. Despite this, it's popularity has it booked for months ahead. Belvedere cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage - both rooms en suite, one with double bed and bath in bathroom; the other bunk beds with shower en suite. A leisurely patio is covered in grape vines and had a magnificent view over the canal , the vineyards and beyond to the mountains. A comfortable lounge has a fireplace for those cold winter nights. The kitchen is very simply equipped - don't plan big cooking experiences. There is only a toaster, kettle and 2 plate hob. Plan a braai instead on the wonderful patio. The estate is generous in providing a bottle of delicious wine to assist this decision.

Slapen op een echt wijn estate in een Cottage. Wij verbleven twee nachten met twee tieners. We kijken terug op een geweldig verblijf. Inclusief ontzettend goed ontbijt. Cottage was prima, twee aparte slaapkamers, een badkamer, keuken en woonruimte. Gezellige tuin erbij. Uber komt op park zelf en wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van deze service om elke avond in Stellenbosch te dineren, voelde veilig. Aankomst was zeer persoonlijk, al het personeel wist dat we kwamen, voelde fijn. Zeer vriendelijk personeel! We komen graag terug.

Wonderful wine presentation, as they made a historic walk with old wine traditions in their oldest cellar. And there wines are really good! I also recommend Weltevrede, because it was their owner with a friend of him who built out of nothing , on their land, the Jakes Gerwel Technical Highschool for 1200 learners!

Rustic is what this accommodation is about. Well equipped cottage with barbecue area, wood and grid provided. It is about the view and switching off. No TV, no internet, just a place to unwind and taste the local wines in the valley. Our cottage had an indoor fireplace making it good for winter as well.
