My friends an us, 2 small families with young kids stayed at the Royal Hotel - I highly recommend them. Rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. Nice stoep to have some drinks in Karoo heat. Very nice place!

Generally enjoyed our stay but the shower was not good. I could not get the temperature of the shower to be correct. That type of gas water heater is very sensitive to water pressure and each time I tried to add cold water the hot water would disappear. I have gas water heating at home so I am used to it but my geyser is a different type.

The staff was very friendly, We would definitely be back. Love the size of your rooms. Royal is a must stay. We were very glad our booking could be carried over from 2020, due to covid we could not ride the Midnight Express.
