Kitchen needs a door. Mornings are disruptively noisy. Internet is so bad they may as well not provide it.
It's clean - and for me, conveniently situated, but the dining arrangements are irritating to the point of despair.

An overall not-too-bad experience. That said, check-in was not done very professionally. The rooms did not have wi-fi, nor was there an adaptor in the room to use. They do not offer a room-service, nor helped to organise a taxi out.
Gardens are great.

First and foremost, that place needs Air Con, which is missing. I loved the design. It's quiet, and relaxing. It was convenient in terms of being close to my work place. Nice food but not very diversified. It needs a lot of improvement and comes certainly a new management. Internet is bad and costly, and nowadays, it's the minimum service an hotel should offer.

I called and confirmed the unit with Jacqui only to get a horrible email from Katherine Sparling cancelling my booking, stating: "I’m sure you can find another guest house in this area". I called them once i received the email only to have the phone unprofessionally put down on me by Katherine! An utterly disappointing experience!

Apparently a four star establishment. If they book you in at the out-house consider the finishes equivalent to two star quality.
Service is poor, and staff who are willing do not have access to stores.
For example on a boiling hot day the ice is locked away in a freezer, we were given Ice tray's to put in a fridge in the room that was not switched on, and could not be plugged in without a lead that had to be plugged into the dressing table plug.
We were going to a wedding and the brides family had given them a small bottle of bubbly to put in our rooms. It was left warm on a counter without glasses or a tray, now that's what you call absolutely miserable.
Our daughter and her family were booked in to an adjacent room and complained about a ceiling fan making a noise and that they could not sleep, absolutely nothing was done about it. Katherine the manager just shrugged her shoulders.

I traveled on a business trip for a week. Great nice little inn. Quiet environment. Good Security as guests are given gate keys so one can go in/out with ease. Excellent customer service, and yeah I loved their sandwiches !! Would definitely recommend someone or visit again.
