We stayed in the cottage in the garden of Grace Guest House for a total of five weeks spread over three separate stays in January and February 2023. The cottage was comfortable and included a terrace and braai (barbecue). The delicious breakfast was served on the terrace at the main guest house. It was lovely to sit and watch the birds feeding at the same time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were efficient and a laundry service was also available. We felt that security was good and there was also back up power. There is a clean swimming pool and chairs around the garden. Whist we were away travelling it was possible to store our excess luggage at the guest house. A really great stay and good value for money.

We returned post covid, to stay at the Grace Guest House, a favourite of mine over many years. I was delighted to find that the fabulous owners, Kathy and Mark Bush are still there and as warm and hospitable as ever. I was also delighted that the staff, Gina and Lettie are still there. The gardens are as beautiful as ever; the breakfasts with fresh fruit salad and eggs made to order were the highlight of each day. Nothing beats a leisurely breakfast on the verandah overlooking the beautiful garden and watching the birds feeding. Accommodation was always clean and beds comfortable. Thank you to Kathy and Mark once again! We will be back.

My family and I stayed at Grace Guest House for one night only. We had the family suite in the main house. We really enjoyed our short stay at this bed and breakfast.
First of all, the property is absolutely beautiful. The garden is really big, with tall oaktrees and heaps of other plants. There is also a swimming pool. The house itself is also very nice and has a modern feel to it. It is a very peaceful but at the same time it is very close to many shops and restaurants, which is useful.
The suite we stayed in was comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities, and it was especially nice to have free rusks (those biscuits are so good). However we found the mattresses to be a little narrow for us.
Breakfast was yummy and really well served, again there was pretty much everything we could need, from cereals to toasts, eggs to yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice... and having it out on the patio was a relaxing experience, what a good way to start the day!
Kathy and her husband are a wonderful couple who make you feel at home instantly. They are both super friendly. And I personally enjoyed that there were so many family photos up on the wall. It felt more like a real home than just another holiday accommodation.
Overall I liked Grace Guest House very much, I wouldn't hesitate going there a second time, and I highly recommend it.

I have stayed in 3 guest houses in the same area and this one deserves my positive review. Its so quiet and peaceful, the lovely garden and kind hosts are a cherry on top. I had a very comfortable, safe stay. Breakfast was served with nice fresh fruit that makes you feel like there is an orchard just round the corner. Stayed in the self-catering cottage which was quite huge and very neatly kept.

Stayed in the main house recently with a family group and we really enjoyed it. Excellent hosts, good location for the Northern suburbs, close to shopping and good restaurants, comfortable and quiet, excellent breakfast, nice gardens and pool, good value. Very clean and secure, decent wifi. Highly recommended for business or vacation travel as an alternative to a hotel. Really enjoyed the suburban garden with lots of birds.

Such a nice guest house in a top location. Very quiet. Walking distance to a little catering area. Short driving distance to shopping malls and great restaurants. We booked the cottage and enjoyed its privacy. Fireplace was well appreciated during the cold winter nights (there is a heating system as well). Breakfast was somptuous. Eggs prepared in your favorite way. Homemade fruit salad. I recommend this place!

Moira and I found our cottage at Grace Guest House the perfect setting for our adventure. We really enjoyed the garden and pool when we had time for some sunbathing. Cathy made us feel very welcome and provided a fridge full of essentials during our 3 week stay. We felt very secure in our surroundings and this made us feel right at home. Gina the house maid made sure there we're clean towels everyday. The brilliant weather added to our enjoyment.

A friend and I stayed at Grace Guest House for 2 nights. I asked to have seperate beds and the owner very kindly gave us seperate rooms with a shared bathroom for only slightly more than the cost of a double room. The guest house grounds are lovely and it is very peaceful to sit out on the patio or around the pool. We were also invited to make use of the lounge to watch TV (there were also TVs in the rooms) and to use the kitchen for anything we needed. It is centrally located and very close to a number of shopping centres and restaurants. Our sons were playing in a waterpolo tournament and Kathy and Mark kindly allowed them to relax in our rooms and around the pool between games and also to use washing lines etc to dry their gowns and towels. They were very accommodating.
