We booked this hotel in January via booking.com and travelled with our 21 year old son. We were meeting up with our other son and his girlfriend who drove from Amsterdam for a week's skiing in the Portes du Soleil. We travelled on Sat 14 March on a Jet2 flight from Birmingham to Geneva and then via Alpybus on to Morzine. All was fine when we arrived and the weather was set fair for the week. We checked in and were able to have our rooms early - 2 really good sized rooms next to each other on the 3rd floor with lovely balconies over looking the village. They had plenty of storage and hanging space for ski gear with a bathroom and a separate WC. Then on Saturday night, President Macron announced that all bars, restaurants, hotels, ski resorts etc. were to close with immediate effect. As we had booked everything ourselves separately, we were now faced with having to sort out our return journey. The hotel were fabulous and allowed us to stay until Tuesday morning, although the restaurant closed following breakfast on Monday morning leaving us to find our own evening meal on Monday and breakfast on Tuesday. It was such a shame as the weather was amazing, the skiing would have been great and the hotel had everything we needed. The skibus stop was right outside the hotel, and although the food selection we had was greatly reduced due to the restrictions in place, what was had was really good and tasty. The staff on reception were all great, providing advice and guidance, and we made use of the pool and hot tub on one occasion. There was also an outdoor pool which was closed when we were there, but would be lovely in the summer season, overlooking the field of reindeer at the rear of the hotel - which we could also see from our balcony. There is a ski shop linked to the hotel and a Casino supermarket about a 5 minute walk down the road towards the main town. There is also ample free, uncovered car parking at the front of the hotel if you drive. We managed to secure an aparthotel in Geneva for a couple of nights and amend our transfer with Alpybus (who also were great) before we flew home on re-arranged flights on Thursday. It was so sad that our family holiday was cut-short and also for all the hotel staff in resort, but we have all vowed to return next year for a reunion at Hotel Club le Cret. We will be back!!

We have just had a week's holiday at the Hotel Le Crêt. The hotel is great, the staff are very helpful. Food was excellent and you get wine and beer with your evening meal. We used the indoor pool which was greatly appreciated after a day on the slopes. The hotel run a free bus service to the lifts which was great. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Morzine.

We came to Morzine to ski. We had an urgent need for assistance and the staff at the desk was extremely nice and helpful. We especially want to commend Alex who really went out of his way to help us. He is a great guy.

We were a group of 3 families -3x 3 and 1x2 The rooms were really spacious we were all pleased with the amount of space - one family had a separate door even Dinner was fantastic- great selection of food and different themes every night with wine on tap for free. In afternoon there was some snacks and hot chocolate - one afternoon was a chocolate fondue :) The kids club looked great - we didn't have kids in our group but they looked well entertained and staff were good. There was also a hotel minibus to centre and back when we stayed all day. Jacuzzi was big and clean Two swimming pools - think one was about 18m tad tricky to train in when the pumps go - but nice pool for kids and to relax. No kettle facilities in room but we asked for hot water at bar and that was fine for cups of tea in evening It's on the flat road into morzine so walk in/out wasn't that bad Far exceeded our expectations
