There are pluses and minuses of every hotel. What makes Hotel Champ a good place for quick trip to Haguenau is definitely location - only few walks down from the city center. Surrounded by pubs, caffes and typical french shops. Hotel is located on one of the main street but it is very quiet. Very clean and cozy room, simple and a bit outdated decor. Bed and pillows were too hard for our prefferences but beside that, would recommend place to everyone.

This was an overnight stop on the way home after our holiday. What a beautiful little boutique hotel. Made to feel very welcome by the ladies on reception. Our room was immaculate and that night we literally slept under the Eiffel Tower - each room is themed to a city a little quirky but delightful all the same. Dinner was beautifully cooked and presented accompanied by a robust bottle of red wine and finished off with cognac before we dragged ourselves off to bed. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was standard continental variety with fresh baked pastries and good strong coffee. I would have loved to spend more time here, it is a little out of the way but its a total gem of a hotel. The owners should be proud of what they've created its absolutely superb.

We stopped here en route to Zeebrugge to break the journey, so glad we did. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, nothing was any trouble. Evening meal was perfect as was the continental breakfast. A nice small bar with a good draught beer was ideal before the meal. Every room was themed with murals of cities to countries to the sea to film stars. Our room was well appointed with great shower and separate toilet. The location is a little outside the town centre, just follow the signs to the small airport. It was about halfway between The Riviera and Zeebrugge and split the journey ideally. The area was mainly small business units and very quiet at night. Try it you, will not be disappointed.

Stayed for one night, good private parking at the rear. A really nice couple run the hotel, rooms are nice and clean and we got an air conditioned one, quiet at night and only a short walk to the town centre. One thing I will say is, that the restaurant was very good and we some of the best steaks we have ever had, cooked to perfection, try it !

We needed to find a hotel as a stop over on a road trip and found the Hotel Champ'Alsace near Strasbourg, near the Aerodrome at Haguenau. The location was easy to find but expect to need a car to get anywhere. The host was welcoming. The rooms were clean, relatively spacious - each one with a different motif, based on the mural painted on one wall. The bed was comfortable and the location was quiet (at least on a Saturday night). The price was very good value for money.
