Always enjoy returning to Seehotel Leoni's restaurant with nice friendly service, good and quite a variety food and with a delicious LK. Limited Parking, yet we always have found a spot. If you have time, in the summer you can take the Boat around the Lake which stops at the the Seehotel Leoni (Truly enjoyable and relaxing). Both indoor & outdoor seating.

The hotel itself is very nice; the location, restaurant, breakfast, spa... Nevertheless, from the two ladies at the reception, one was really welcoming and kind, but the other one.. O man (I beilieve both will recognize themselves). She was so unfriendly, rude, not interested in helping my friend and I; I can not believe she is still allowed to work in a hotel like that. And always with such a grumpy face. Would have a serious talk with her if I was the hotel manager.

Dear Ms. Nikolina19933, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad that you enjoyed so many aspects of our hotel. We truely apologize for the experience at the Front Office. Rest assured that our guest's satisfaction has the highest priority in our hotel and friendly attitude is a must when being hired here. I can only assume that this very instant was a misunderstanding because none of our employees is rude towards our guests. That is a behaviour we would not permit. Therefore, once again, kindly accept our deepest apologies if this wrong impression was made. We still hope to be welcoming you back in the near future. Best regards, Seehotel Leoni Team.

Location - great Parking - might be a nightmare if a bigger event in the hotel. Otherwise is ok. Though other 4star hotels in the area offer cost free parking. Overall hotel style - mismatch. The throne of Sissi and Don Quixote figures, very strangely placed plants in the terrace... urgently need a decorator to work on this place. Rooms - renovated without much care, good ideas but very pour craftsmanship. During our stay, a picture in our room felt off the wall. Flower pots in the balconies are the cheapest ones. Bathroom - various things surprise. No AIR-CONDITIONING!!! Reception - arrogant. When arrived, no other people just us... asking in fluent German how to navigate around: where is Spa, lake, breakfast, restaurant, dinner... barely any answers... we run for 30 min around and have figured ourselves Restaurant - applause to the staff: cook and the service people like waitresses & waiters!!!! It feels like watching SLAVERY in 2019. No bartender and we assume only 2 waitering in the morning and 2 in the evening. If an event + 1 extra. No BARTENDER! The place is full almost all the time. Dinners take 3-4 hours as ones keeps waiting... the staff runs like crazy... I guess the kitchen too. Few times our kids went to the rooms without the desert that was included into the boarding meal - we got ours brought to the room but just because the waiter was feeling very sorry about the whole situation. BREAKFAST: if one wishes to have breakfast at the terrace no matter at 6am or 8am - either sit at the dirty table or clean it yourself. COFFEE machine is barely working and was breaking down every morning. Coffee beans... change it please!!! No CHEESE for sandwiches. Often no cups for coffee or tea 🙈. For a 4 star hotel pour choice of meals. Overall MENU card - we are for less than more... but the menu is completely tasted after 3 days!!! There is a possibility to switch to half-board. Yet, we had the same dishes several times during our 7 days stay. Cleanness - rooms: don’t look under the bed or at your windows when sun is shining. The cleaning staff is super friendly and helpful but obviously understaffed. Pool & terrace: no staff during the whole day... that us felt after few hours... Most of Sun umbrellas are cheapest sort and bad quality We will NOT COME BACK, for we do not support slavery and the arrogant management. We travel a lot both within Europe and North/South America, stay in hotels of 4, 4+, and 5 Stars... and in places that are not rated but hidden gems, we do know prices... professionally we are familiar with Service industry... also if people are interested we offer our friendly and cost free expertise/feedback - this place was not interested... Wishing the people working hard at this place all the best,

I will add some pictures i took so that you may understand partly my reaction. Looking for an hotel with view on the Starnberger lake, i found this one via tripadvisor and booked it months ago. I must have not seen at that time some comments i see now because i just can confirm all the worst of them. On the way back from 4 and 5 stars hotels in Vienna, Bratislava and Salzburg to our home, we were targeting this 4 stars hotel in Bavaria. Arrived there, first bad impression with parking lots in a bad shape, blocked by pad lock. The reception did its duty. not more. not even unfriendly but anyhow bored attitude. The room we had was in a bad shape, with very simple and cheap furniture, bathroom from the seventies, disgusting curtains, stains on the ground, stinky room, no aircon, and this for a bit less than 300,- €. only the view is really valuable. We didn' t stay and left the same day late afternoon after we saw what we wanted to see, the Possenhofen Castle from Sissi. I hate myself for having done this mistake to book this Hotel. Never again

Dear guest, thank you so much for taking the time writing your feedback. Please accept our deepest apologies for the impression you received. We value each guest and I must therefore assume that the impression you received of our Front Office staff must have a misunderstanding that we are very sorry for. We are also working on upgrading all the interior to make sure our guests are feeling 100% comfortable. We are hoping to still welcome you back one day to convince you of the better.
