This cool lifestyle Surf Camp is only a 3-minute walk from from Praia Lagide (Baleal Beach) in Peniche, Portugal. You really cannot find a better location for surfing and partying in Peniche. We are truly in the middle of it all - the best beaches, the beach bars and the restaurants. We have ten (10) cozy apartments, each with two bedrooms. The bedrooms are either set up as shared dorm rooms with 4 beds, or as private rooms for two guests. All apartments have their own fully equipped kitchen, so getting in line to use a community kitchen or loosing your food from the common refrigerator are a thing of the past. Most likely, you are considering ANOTHER SURF CAMP for your surf trip. The suburb Baleal offers an incredible vibe, which you will not want to miss. Awesome sun terrace with beautiful view of the ocean. Andreas and Gonçalo are very very helpful and friendly and try to fulfill any wishes with no hesitation or complication :) cool set up of the place too, with various little apartments with shared rooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom. A good selection of brand new surf boards to rent and always willing to feel the guests like home. Close to the beach and shops. Really curious how the place will look like the next time. Very promising :)

We came there "5 till 12"
And couldn't be more glad.
This is for sure not just another surf camp its really unique.
Andreas was amazing,perfect host and the rest of the staff were like that;very helpfull,friendly and supporting.
Everything what you need you will find there-great food,atmosphere,stunning terrace and the view,party and beautiful people.
Location is perfect-you are in the middle of everything!
Baleal is really paradise- my favourite spot in Portugal.
Don't think too much,book this place and have awesome time.
Definitely take some surf lessons.
Croatian 'trouble' is definitely coming back 😂

Another Surf Camp in Baleal is 100% the place to be!
Don’t be put off by the distance out of Peniche town, as Baleal is where all the action happens & you’ve really got everything you need right on your doorstep! There’s great surf breaks for all levels, beach bars, restaurants & supermarket all just a few minutes’ walk away!
I ended up here on a last minute booking & couldn’t be happier/couldn’t leave & extended my stay!
You can hire all types of equipment boards, wetsuits & bikes to cruise around on directly from the surf camp for a good price. Super convenient!
They put on some awesome events & welcome people from the area & other hostels to join the fun!
The location, setup, friendly staff & vibe is just awesome!
Best place to surf, chill, meet people & party!

Great atmosphere :) Close to the beach so very easy to carry the board. There is a pace to dry the suites. Food store is just few hundred meters away. Bars and restaurants in a walking distance. It is possible to rent the boards in the hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay in this place. The owner and Gonzalo were super friendly and helpful. The place immediately felt for me comfortable. location is excellent for those who want to enjoy relaxation and surfing. Everything is within walking distance. I definitely recommend to stay there! The owner is a cool man with lots of energy for life. I'm sure I'll stay there again if I ever go back to Peniche! Cheers

Very nice place, Andreas is super nice and was welcoming us like home! Nice place to meet people and surf together ! The rooms were OK and we had a nice short time there ! Hope to be back there one day !

Andreas was very welcoming! The place is great and makes you feel at home. It's possible to rent surf material, and another surfcamp organises special nights like barbecue night,... Our room (private double room) was functional and silmple, with a bathroom to share with another double room.
The place is really 5 min walk from the beach which is really convenient! Plus, there is a nice place to have breakfast just in front of the hostel.
We'll be back for sure!

Much space, amazing partys and brand new very good surfequipment!

Baleal in general is a great place to stay. It is small but the vibe is awesome and you have everything that you need. Good waves, nice bars and good people. Another surf camp Baleal helps you to have a good time. They show you around help you out with whatever you nee and have awesome bbqs. When your planning to go to Baleal give it a go!
