My parents stayed for 2 nights in this hotel during their visit to my school to attend my graduation day. Though it was just a 2 stars hotel but the room was very clean, quiet and cozy with stunning view over the mountain and tradition Swiss chalets. The receptionists were so hospitable, happy and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, especially the croissants. Small lovely village, field, and supermarkets... were all in a walking distance. My parents enjoyed their stay a lot. Such a great hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visits Leysin, Switzerland.
Lovely family-run hotel centrally located in Leysin. I made a last-minute booking and was greeted warmly by hotel staff. They were friendly and accommodating, and the free breakfast was a plus! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this charming, classic Swiss hotel to anyone passing through Leysin.
Comfortable room with balcony, so we were able to enjoy the superb mountain views. Excellent breakfasts, friendly staff made our short holiday all the more enjoyable. The position of the hotel made it easily accessible for shopping, dining and sightseeing
We stayed here for a stop over traveling to Spain. The rooms are typically Swiss with a lot of wood which gives them the characteristic warmth. The rooms are clean but the beds are a bit worn out. The hotel is located almost at the entrance of the village, so don't forget to walk around to get a good feel. Breakfast is good with a real Nespresso machine. Staff is very friendly and there is WiFi! They gave us also good advise about some restaurants. Try to get a room with a balcony.. the view is great.
We were here in June, it was quiet pretty town this time of year. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was above average with great croissants. Our triple room was very spacious. We drove from Geneva in rented car, the drive up from Montreux was a little scary, but I enjoyed the views and had fun driving it. There is a good traditional Swiss restaurant, La Fromagerie, a block or two walk from the hotel.
