#6 of 23 hotels in Verbier
Travellers' Choice
In a picture-postcard setting with unbelievable views of snowy peaks, Le Chalet d'Adrien seems to cling to the mountainside. It overlooks Verbier, one of the most charming high altitude resorts in Switzerland. In winter it is an unrivalled ski paradise, and in summer the high mountain pastures are the perfect place for magnificent hikes. Matching wood panelling and fabrics, antique furniture, books and objets d'art scattered around in a homey way all combine to create a charming, cosy atmosphere from which the pristine beauty of the landscape can be enjoyed. The pool looking onto the mountains, and the spa are an invitation to well-being. The restaurants feature the culinary flavours of nearby Italy and showcase Valais products and wines

Probably the best terrace in Verbier. Great spot for lunch or coffee. Pretty expensive as expected for the Verbier crowd. However, it’s super delicious. Service a little slow. They also have a super nice and comfy lounge area outside. Only caveat are the cigar smokers…

Went there for dinner last saturday - had made 9pm reservation; however table was not available when we arrived and ended up waiting for 20mn before being shown to our table. Ordered lobster pasta; dish was very disappointing - no taste as most likely made with tiny bits of frozen lobster - and portion was very small - yet price was CHF 44 ! Very disappointing. Being in a fairly noisy dining room did not help having an enjoyable evening either. Lastly hotel decor is now quite dated and old fashioned - clearly in need of refurbishment and some fresher design ideas; This hotel appears to have an overrated reputation but this seems to be enough to attract a large undiscerning Russian clientele...

We have been travelling to this pretty destination for a while We were upgraded to a lovely suite The front desk manager Leo could not do enough to make our stay pleasurable We love the maître d’hôtel . Nicolas who could not do enough to make our stay pleasurable but we felt that whilst dinner was tasty it lacked creativity The breakfast was weak although the fresh orange juice was a lovely touch Lack of bottled soda water was poor Thé hôtel is ski in and ski out and despite the weaknesses the friendly staff more than compensated for the déficiences I recommend a visit but don’t expect Michelin star meals at this time The rooms are very quaint and chalet flavour but renovation of freshening up is def due

Everything is amazing about this place... just needs an upgrade, renovation modernization especially The rooms the interior the spa and pool. Otherwise it’s 10/10 on service , friendliness, efficiency, cleanliness and quality of food in all the restaurants. We especially loved the lunch out on the terrace and we really enjoyed a delicious Michelin stay meal with friends at La Table DAdrien. Definitely worth going. It’s great summer and winter and location is ideal. We have already booked for next winter skiing and can’t wait .
