Very quiet on a Tuesday .... The kitchen staff's day off ! But nice little hotel on a river with kayaking opportunities. 'Communal' minibar, nice breakfast, "the village" down the road (1-1.5 km) has an atmospheric restaurant open (not only) on Tuesday evenings.
If seeing Parchim is why you're here it's a bit far away from the centre of things; if you're just after a transit stop it's perfect. But even better to stop for a day's kayaking.
I can't remember the precise arrival advice we got when booking but I would recommend letting them know when you expect to arrive - certainly if on a Tuesday !
