After a friendly reception we got a room on the 8th floor under the roof. It was a very hot day and the room was also very hot. No air conditioning. The balcony faces south so it was even warmer there. Room is not too big. Bathroom neither, but looked nice. Beds are fine. Pillows in German. Look big until you put your head on it and then there's nothing left. Swimming pool is small, for people who are a bit less walking almost impossible to do. First dangerous stairs up and then immediately old-fashioned pool stairs into water. Water wasn't really hot. But that is one thing we find in many hotels... now that energy prices are more expensive, the bathing water is really not nice and warm anywhere anymore. And Saltwasserbad was just chlorine. Didn't eat in hotel. Is on the pricey side. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice.
Conclusion: nice hotel for one night and then quickly get out....
We enjoyed breakfast and diner, good quality and choices.
If you park your car in the backside, you might find out there is no backdoor, that is a bit strange but of course easy to cope with.
The first negative thing is that there was a bottle of water in the room, as is usual in all hotels, but it is usually a nice and free gift for guests, but here it is very expensive at €3.50, a shame.
What also bothered me was that my room was in the building next door, and to get to breakfast you had to go outside in wind and weather and walk around the main building to the main entrance, which was uncomfortable.
