We were with our regular table ( 9people ) on Saturday on site in the restaurant. The service staff was absolutely friendly and reliable. The price for the cold bread plate specially prepared for us was very fair for what was offered. Also with the drinks we were satisfied, priced for the top location and views reasonable. We can only absolutely recommend a visit to Schliersbergalm. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel in a unique location.
We were up there for 3 days with our hiking group and had a great time.
The room, surroundings and hotel were very good, and everyone enjoyed the food too. Typical Bavarian cuisine with an Austrian twist. The same goes for breakfast and the selection of drinks.
The price was very reasonable and the portions were plentiful.
The heated pool and the option of unlimited use of the hotel's own cable car are great. This means you can make the most of rainy days by going on a valley hike or going on a shopping trip.
Victor and his team do a great job, we'd love to come back

Just back from a fantastic relaxing weekend in the Schliersbergalm hotel. The hotel is clean, warm and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal here on two of our three nights and it was excellant. The views have got to be seen to be believed and if you are looking for somewhere to just chill and relax, this is it.
It was our fist visit to the Schliersbergalm hotel but it will not be our last.

Apart from the very helpful receptionist and the view of the lake, this hotel is not worth spending a single night there. You already have to find a place in the small parking lot at the foot of the cable car (no other access) and so, once at the top, you hesitate to go back down even though there is not much to do around other than a short walk in the surrounding woods. The room was quite large but with an outdated bathroom. But above all the restaurant is not great: little choice, no more bread to accompany the sausages and I will not talk about the waiter who took care of us to remain polite... After the bad experience of the dinner we were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet which was not bad. But not enough to raise the level of the establishment

I have never given full marks on a review, except in this case. I would have never thought this hotel would be so good.

Starting off with the spectacular views of Schliersee and the surrounding mountains, waking up to this view for a week was heavenly and I wish I could see it everyday. The rooms and hotel are a bit old however definitely acceptable, considering the relatively low price. Moving on to the food, breakfast was very good and when I ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, I was truly amazed by the high quality of the food served, definitely some of the best meals I ate in a hotel. Finally the staff, they are all well mannered and quite helpful, with some English is a problem but I always managed to communicate my message. The only downside is access to the hotel, going up is done either on foot or by cablecar, the problem with the latter being that strong winds might stop its operation. However the experience of using the cablecar is a nice one and in high winds the walk is still pleasant, this is rare as we used the cablecar in very high winds and although being a slightly longer journey we arrived.

My experience at Schliersbergalm was exceptional, I will definitely recommend it to anyone and I would personally love to visit again. Had a great holiday there.

We stayed two nights here.....Our first night was great....our server was great...made us feel very welcomed. The next night our different server went out of his way to avoid us... So we went to the village for dinner....The food is better in the village....we had a great time down there.... A few people made us feel welcome...house keeping....front desk...one server...the rest....The meanest people I've met.....The views are perfect...many things for kids to do....still gets a terrible rating....very poor business practice....The have the area on there side....if not....surely would fail

The view of Schliersee is amazing from this location. The hotel grounds are charming and the food is some of the best Bavarian I've had. The service is ok as well, but the hotel itself is quite outdated and some sections definitely bring to mind scenes from the movie "The Shining". Overall, this place was great for a 2-day business meeting, but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway.

we went for a brief trip for one night only, but were so happy for the short break as the location is just stunning, rooms are big and comfy, everything was superclean and the owners are friendly and helpful. It is fantastic for families, lots of fun things to do, we will definitely go back! -- On a sunny Sunday, it does get busy and we had to wait almost an hour for the cable car ride up. I would recommend walking up on a day like that, an elderly lady said it takes 45 mins.

If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the world, then look no further, because this hotel has it all.
From the time you enter the hotel until you leave you will encounter friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent, not to mention the wonderful views.
We were an Irish family of six on our fourth visit and we will defiantly be back next year.
