During our recent stay in Bavaria, we :jagged’ 3 nights through our SP Wyndham ownership at Karma Resort. It was a delightful 3 days. A beautiful resort with top grade facilities in a beautiful setting. Comfortable deluxe room with adequate kitchen, microwave, great coffee maker and small fridge. A large comfy bed with fresh linen and soft pillows. A bonus outdoor setting with view on a wide balcony. The best part was the excellent service of the manager ( Joarmy?) and reception staff who provided a range of equipment to assist one of us who was temporarily using crutches. Our only disappointment was the taco night at the restaurant: they were almost inedible, avoid if you like Aussie style tacos ! But despite this, it was a great short stay in a beautiful place

Hotel's Favourite
Karma Bavaria is an ideal property to use as home base while exploring Bavaria and Saltzburg. While Schliersee is a tourist destination for swimming in the lake in Summer and skiing in Winter we chose to rent a car and travel throughout Bavaria. The resort is well maintained and set in the Bavarian countryside. In the evening we would sit on our patio and listen to the bells tinkle as the cows came home. It was very relaxing. The resort has a large spa area with indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room and dry sauna. There is a game room with bowling alley. Very family friendly. The restaurant offered a different “special” each day. The bar also served food. The bed was a bit firm for me but did not detract from my experience. I would gladly stay at Karma Bavaria again. M1 restaurant in town serves contemporary cuisine. The Ratskeller has a beer garden and serves traditional Bavarian cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed both. We also loved Dinzler for wood fired pizza and fabulous desserts. …

The hotel is full of mountain atmosphere and convenient to the town and train station. We had a large room with plenty of space and a terrace to sit and enjoy the Mountain View’s. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice.

Great location in a clean resort with beautiful rooms. Friendly staff and close to shops and restaurants and the beautiful Lake Schliersee. Downside no a/c and it was really warm. Also no screens on windows so bugs get in. Other than that, love this resort.

Loved our time at Karma Bavaria. Easy distance to walk down to lake for dinner or to grocery store. Excellent hikes writhing 15 minutes. We did daily trips from here to explore into Austria. Staff was very accommodating. We were able to access free hiking poles from the resort since we only used carry on luggage. Very grateful.

Resort location is beautiful. Rooms are very nice. However for the journey back we needed to weigh our luggage and they did not had the weighing scale not even in the gym. There was no one to welcome on arrival or to help us with setting luggage. They are struggling with staff shortage but the reception guy Leni was our POC for everything helped us with luggage setting up extra bed and answered all our questions.

Great resort in a spectacular area of Bavaria. Their Schliersee Card was especially helpful for the free bus transportation and selected discounts. Hiking trails literally right out your door, delicious restaurants and the resort has an outstanding bartender when you return from your outdoor adventures. Looking forward to returning again.

The place is beautifully quaint! It is the farthest point on a journey by train! We loved the resort and its facilities. We were upgraded to a "cottage" after booking a family room. They did manage to sell us their package worth a princely sum for me, but it was well worth the experience and we look forward to utilizing their other resorts across the globe as part of the package.

We were at the resort for a full week, starting the last few days of February 2023, till 04 March 2023. It was during the week when there was a foot of snow all around. The temperatures were in the range of -08 degrees to -02 degrees Celcius. This was a typical winter holiday in "Winter Wonderland". The check-in procedure was very pleasant, The staff was very cheerful and helpful and we got our cottages which were very well-appointed and beautifully warmed. The bar was always well-frequented by all the guests and was a very busy meeting place for all guests, as going out was not an option. The restaurant was nice and the menu was rather limited, but, nice. The facilities for indoor activities were plenty and what I liked most was the library of books, but, more importantly, the library of LP vinyl records from an era of our times.
