On our next adventure in the future we would love to stay here again
i would recommend this hotel, and the location.
The hotel is spotless and the food divine. The owner, Frau Rohrlapper is a very sweet lady. Tommy and Klare who work there are such lovely people. I am returning in November and will return many times more.
If I could afford it I would stay there many more times every year.
I have tayed at Hotel Karpfen many times over the last 3 years and now feel like a part of the family. It has the best of everything. The food is fantastic, the rooms are wonderful, clean, airy, comfortable. Frau Rohrlapper, Tommy and Klare are so very wonderfully friendly and ARE now friends. We are staying there again in November and absolutely love it.
It is a cute hotel with carpets with images of fish.
Karpfen = carp. The breakfast was wonderful. I was in a bad way and didn’t enjoy it as I would have without the accident. Very clean very quiet. I would go back any time
"Rooms on the front are bigger and more expensive. They have a great view of the square. There are floodlights that shine on the windows at night. The curtains take care of it though. The smaller rooms at the back are fine with rooftop views of the Old Town and the hillside to the west. They are nice, just smaller. For a single, they are more than adequate."Read full review
