Club Med Tignes is celebrated for its prime ski-in/ski-out location and engaging atmosphere, where many guests appreciate the personalized service and friendly staff. While the amenities, including comprehensive spa services and a variety of activities, receive commendations, some visitors have reported temperature control issues within the spacious modern rooms.
Although the hotel's cleanliness generally meets high standards, a few travelers have voiced concerns over maintenance. Despite the overall positive reviews, some aspects such as value for cost and check-in efficiency could see improvement.

Detailed Reviews
This was our first holiday with Club Med and I honestly can't praise it enough!
We visited Saturday to Saturday which meant we were met with a private transfer at Geneva Airport as we were the only ones arriving at this time. Our driver was so lovely and helpful and the drive was really smooth.
The hotel is fantastic, new but with an alpine feel. Check is was easy and our interconnecting rooms were perfect. Plenty of space for a family of 4.
The locker room was great with heated lockers and coffee/tea/water readily available at all times. In the morning the GOs were handing out drinks, sweets and shots of Genepi to help start you day.
The children went off to their lessons through kids club where they stored their equipment. Adult lessons set off from just outside the locker room and the nearest lift was just a few metres away.
The daily Ski Return was fab, we enjoyed drinks and snacks in the lounge on snowy days.
The food was fantastic. Everything we ate was delicious and so many stations cooked the food in front of you. Puddings were also fab.
The evening entertainment was fun and so well done. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. They worked so hard, greeting us at breakfast and kids club first thing to dancing in to the night each evening. It was lovely to see the managers regularly, stopping for a chat and joining in with some of the performances.
My children (10 and 12) had fallen out of love with skiing but this holiday reignited that for them. We can't wait to book again.

We had a good week at this Club Med. I would like to thank the village chief Alexandre then his assistant Bouchra as well as certain GoS for their kindness and sympathy including: the bartenders Warren and Léo, the reception team who take care of the golds and platinums:
Cassandra, Titouan and Candice then Hugo who works at the boutique, and finally Margaux the manager of the exclusive 5T space.
• Titouan and Hugo are very sunny and each have a great personality, they are motivated and always smiling which is a pleasure.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are impeccable. Food is decent.
Very beautiful hikes are offered for all levels, the landscape is very beautiful with very good experienced guides.
However, certain points should be improved (in my opinion):
- set up more private buses to go hiking instead of taking the city bus which is often full and armored (like in Parisian buses). This bus only runs at specific times and is not sufficient for Club Med and vacationers in Tignes. That is 30 minutes to go to our hike taking all the vacationers from Tignes whereas we could go there in 10 minutes with a private bus.
- It would be good for the cooks to serve the food by hand for greater cleanliness and hygiene instead of everyone helping themselves, which would avoid clusters of gastro and all the little children who touch everything .
- The DJ is quite shaky, some evenings he has great evenings with good music and other evenings it's a disaster.
- It’s a shame that August 15 was not more celebrated….
Advice :
- Don't bring in external DJs who don't know how to mix and who scare you off the dance floor after 3 minutes.
- ⚠️This Club Med is not made for young people
16-25 year olds looking for an atmosphere and having fun. This Med Club is very family-friendly and welcomes more than half of young children between
1-10 years maximum.

The resort itself is brand new and the service does make the difference. Location wise is just perfect with genuine ski in/ski out.
The service regarding the exclusive location rooms is truly outstanding and you can see that they make an effort for your convenience.
I really recommend if you are travelling with your family, specially with kids.
Heila, Margaux and all the team at Exclusive Collection deserves a nominal reference.

We went to Tignes for a week. We loved the hotel. The location is very perfect.
We stayed in the exclusive collection space.
The rooms were large and comfortable. We are a couple plus two children aged 6 and 11.
We don't adapt to group classes. However, we hired private teachers who helped us a lot.
I found the exclusive collection concierge service to be slow and exhausting. After insisting a lot, we were served.
The lockers for ski equipment are well located and easily accessible, which makes everyday life much easier. The hotel is new. For families with children, it's worth it. We are fans of club med, but this one in particular I thought the food left something to be desired.
But overall we loved the hotel and would go back.
There is a restaurant on the 5th floor that serves à la carte, but the same menu every day. It's difficult to get a reservation for more than one day.

After spending a great week in Tignes at the beginning of the year, we wanted to test during the summer.
Once again, Alex and his team welcomed us like kings and thanks to them we felt right at home.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well thought out. The buffet is varied, fresh and nicely presented - remember to try tomatoes and straciatella at lunch, a delight. And the chef's smile when you congratulate him is the icing on the cake. The activities offered during the summer are numerous and well organized. This allows the two indoor/outdoor pools not to be stormed - not to mention the sunshine of the outdoor pool. Last but not least, adding a coffee bar side to the bar is a great idea (vegetable milks available, big fat +!).
We would like to thank the people who made this stay quite exceptional: Alex, Chef de Village; Clémentine & Manon, Manager & HR Assistant; Luna du Spa; Quentin, for her good humor and advice "mountain"; Manon, supply; Celia, the sunbeam of the bar; Jerome (and all his team), Room Div; Germain & Nikki at the pool and Valentine, who offers us shows as beautiful as funny.

We had a great week in this brand new, beautiful club! Everything was perfect, the structure is well thought out and is located at the foot of the slopes! The movement of people is very fluid despite the high number of GMs both at the bar level and at the restaurant level or at the start of the morning and afternoon for skiing
The rooms are spacious, well equipped with large closets and very well soundproofed
The food offered in the form of large buffets is excellent and varied enough for everyone to find what they are looking for, whether at breakfast, lunch or dinner, you never find the same dish twice, very varied buffets are also offered at the bar for aperitifs and snacks
The village chief and the GOs are extremely friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is particularly jovial throughout the day and the shows lack neither humor nor quality.
A special mention for Germain in charge of the swimming pool team who is absolutely kind and is particularly conscientious in his role as a swimming instructor, providing very high quality aquagym lessons! as well as Justine and Clara, also very friendly, always smiling and extremely efficient during their aquagym classes.
The presence of Emma at the bar is also worth noting because she is always very jovial, very welcoming and nevertheless very efficient.
So a big thank you to Germain Justine Clara and Emma for their presence and their professionalism throughout this wonderful week which, thanks to them, ultimately did not lack sunshine even if it almost never showed the tip of its nose in the sky 😅!
A big thank you also to all the others Go Valentine, Ali, Acir, Quentin, Max, Manon, Anna, Corinne….
We will return with great pleasure to this club even if the weather conditions are as terrible as this week

It is not our first time but I don’t think we will come again. The skiing experience is great. Teachers are nice, experienced and great. Skiing facility are great.
The hotel is 4 star and very clean, though u can see it is in big use as painting works are being carried out plus constant leaks in the restaurant and we also had a problem with it in our shower room which was not fixed during the week.
We could not use the shower as the temp was either too hot or cold, so we had to take a shower in kids room. Ceiling was damaged and didnot add beauty to our executive room.
Food choice looks varied but in fact pretty much the same the whole week plus chefs could not cook meat or fish, was decent 3 star experience not 4 star.
Swimming is great and saunas are nice. Though I wish there were swim nappies for little kids and stuff used their judgement better on deciding whom to allow in the hot tub. They didnot allow my 11 y o with me, but later in the afternoon 2 families with small kids were allowed to be there which ended in a nasty situation when child defecated there and hot tub had to be closed.
All this ruined our stay and not sure whether we will come back.

Response from Club Med, Marketing at Club Med Tignes
Responded 28 Dec 2023
Dear Julialondon30, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing Club Med Tignes for your recent vacation. We are sorry to see that our services were not to your complete satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed comments on your recent visit to Club Med Tignes. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the skiing experience, the quality of the teachers and the ski facilities. However, we are sincerely sorry to learn that some aspects of your stay fell below your expectations, and we take these concerns very seriously. Firstly, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the ongoing painting work, leaks in the restaurant and shower room issues. If you have noticed any malfunctions, rest assured that these are not representative of the quality of service that Club Med strives to offer to its G.M. We regret to learn that you did not enjoy discovering the dishes prepared by our chefs. Know that they do everything they can every day to offer you varied and quality meals. The hot tub access situation is also concerning, and we understand how this may have affected your stay. We will review and strengthen our policies to ensure a fair and comfortable experience for all of our guests, particularly regarding access to facilities. We deeply regret that these problems spoiled your stay, and we understand your hesitation about a possible return. We hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future by taking immediate action to resolve these issues and improve our services. Thank you for informing us of your experience, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again to offer you an experience more in line with your expectations. Amélie, The Club Med Team

People make things work and the staff I met here were amazing, from Salvo at the bar making the best cocktails to Ragab who ensured the best atmosphere in the hotel and plenty of others I’ve interacted with during my week there.
Any issues or questions I had were dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner.
Food was ok, I would recommend the gourmet restaurant for lunches. Desserts were always great.
Evening shows were entertaining and the team made the dancing afterwards enticing for everyone to join.
Hotel itself is new so it’s quite good but the rooms can get a bit stuffy during the night.
Swimming pool was a bit cold for my liking so I used the sauna/hammam more.
Location is great, next to the ski lifts and about 5-10 mins walk from bars/clubs/shops.
Transfer to/from the airport was well organised with pretty much no waiting time.
Instructor was friendly and took us where we wanted to go, we had a smaller group of 7 people with a similar skill level.

Im at Club Med Tignes at the moment:
The assistance provided for individuals with special needs was extremely disappointing. I reserved three rooms and made a simple request for a minibar in one of them. This is not a matter of luxury; it is a necessity. My 10-year-old daughter requires medication that must be kept refrigerated at all times. Despite this, the hotel failed to provide a minibar in any of the rooms my family was staying (“your room level doesnt allow the minibar like other more expensive ones”), displaying a complete lack of consideration. Such disregard for a basic and essential request is truly unacceptable.

Very poor customer service throughout our stay. Reception unable to help with most things, sending you to other places often incorrect, resulting in going from one place to another.
A la carte restaurant food was very poor. Waiter poured hot fondue on our child, no apology from waiter or manager who we sort out and had to argue a lot to get them to wash her clothes which were covered in it. Reception also unable to help booking the a la carte restaurant.
Thought we had pre booked spa treatments online (20% off) which we were then told had not worked and had to rebook and no discount was applied after asking.
Not advised that automatic checkout wasnt working. No one asked on checkout if we had had a nice stay.
ESF ski school was average, on the last day daughters instructor tried to tell us she wasn’t in her group although she had been in the group all week!
Boot warmers did not appear to have been on a few nights resulting in wet ski boots.
Buffet was reasonably good quality with lots of choice fr everyone however gluten free offerings were not good. Rooms comfortable, good size and good storage but far too hot. Generally communal areas kept clean even in busy periods. Kids club and teen club worked well, made it easy to get them out to ski school. Excellent location and ski area and great facilities eg pool, fitness suite, spa.

Le plus proche est INTERSPORT just in front of the club med
When u approach the hotel they will show u where to park. It is in the same building in the garage, but it is quite costly, smth about 100 euros per week.
Yes I did notice there was a laundry room near to the baby preparation feeding room. I didn’t use it so not sure what the costs are.
Hope this helps
