Detailed Reviews
We had a wonderful skiing holiday in Tignes made all the better by the Tetras Lodge Hotel.
The hotel was beautifully presented and only a 5 minute walk from the slopes. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I am coeliac and follow a gluten free and vegetarian diet, so was initially apprehensive about opting for half board. I however had absolutely nothing to worry about as the chef amended my meals to make them gluten free and even offered alternative options to cater for my dietary requirements.
The hotel also offered a spa area with sauna, steam room and outside hot tub. This was very welcomed after a long day skiing.
The only place I could see any possible improvements was the ski storage room which could have benefited from allocated lockers for skis and better external access.
We would definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends and look forward to hopefully returning soon.

The location of this small hotel is lovely- right on the edge of the lake with views over the mountains, and 500m from the ski lift. The rooms are a good size, with really comfortable beds. Great spa on site - sitting in the outdoor hot tub, looking at the snow covered peaks is a perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. And not forgetting the tasty 3 course meals in the restaurant.
What really made this place special was the people - incredibly friendly and service minded, nothing was too much trouble. From Hadrien on the front desk, through to the maitre d’ in the restaurant, the great barman, the chef, the drivers and all of the waiting staff… everybody excelled! They really made our holiday special.
We hope to return… keep up with the great work!

Just a short walk (500m) down the road from the gondola, Tetras lodge provides a cozy oasis for those looking for a more tranquil destination in the Tignes area. Food and accommodation were outstanding but what stands out most was the service and friendliness of the staff. Axel in particular was helpful in taking care of us upon departure, returning our ski's on our behalf when the rental location was closed.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here. The renovation has been done well and we stayed in one of the penthouse suites which was comfortable enough. In terms of the accommodation, there were a few things I would have expected of a 4 star hotel such as daily complimentary water (it was only offered on the first day), a Nespresso coffee machine, as opposed to instant coffee. There was no mini bar in the fridge, so we bought our own! There were no hooks to hang ski jackets on and a lack of storage space overall, so we couldn’t properly unpack. The daily housekeeping didn’t top up toilet paper and toiletries and when I phoned and asked, it never arrived!
The new manager and her front of house team were very friendly, helpful and well-meaning, but the hotel was not functioning as it should for the standard and the price we paid. The main issue was the restaurant and the standard of cuisine. We booked the half board rate and very much regretted it after the first night. The 3 course menu du jour was €50 pp and the New Year’s Eve €150 pp if you weren’t in half board which is extortionate. We gave up on our 6-course New Years Eve meal when one of the guest’s dog was served a bowl
of fresh water whilst we waited 45 minutes for our starter which was cold and inedible. None of the dishes we had were up to the standard that is described on their website. Breakfast was limited and boring and each morning I had to ask for teaspoons for my coffee.
I have since learnt that there is a whole new management team and chef since December 2022. I had based my choice of this hotel on the previous excellent reviews, but, sadly, this has not been my experience. There is a lot that needs to be put right and the new management team have a very challenging job to bring it up to standard. I wish them well.

The hotel was great for many reasons, including the staff and location. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The hotel was located very close to the ski lifts (and we were often taxied by hotel staff to the bottom of the lift), and the surroundings were incredible.
However, the biggest let down for us was the food. We went half-board as one of the main reasons we chose the hotel was for food. However, the food was a big let down. It appeared that the chef kind of tried with the food and often one of the courses would be nice, but the rest would feel very basic. The main would often come with a meat (which would be ok), then a small serving of a carb and vegetable (or sometimes none). There was little variety with the main, and often would be slow cooked mutton. Whilst we stayed the chef quit and so they contributed £50 per person to a resturant designated by the hotel. To be honest, this was a welcome relief from the hotel food. They found another chef, and the hotel food was even worse. There was more limited options and we were served a full fish menu (to my partner's dissapointment as he doesn't like fish). Another hotel resident mentioned that there was meant to be a free bottle of wine with the meal, however we never recieved this.

The hotel and staff were very pleasant, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel provides shuttle services to the nearest elevator at 2 different hours in the morning and can also bring you back. Although the hotel is located in a low town, we really enjoyed the quiet, the quality of the room and the breakfast

Our stay at Tetra Lodge in Tignes Val d'Isère was a delightful mix of contemporary style and exceptional service. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness stood out, making every aspect of my visit memorable. Mornings began with a rich, varied breakfast that perfectly set the stage for a day on the slopes. Although the hotel boasts a spa, a rare find in France, it's notably smaller compared to those in Austria, offering a more intimate relaxation experience. The rooms, while comfortable and tranquil, could benefit from some updates and are somewhat compact. Despite this, the overall ambiance and the quality of service more than compensated for these minor drawbacks. Tetra Lodge is a commendable choice for anyone seeking a warm, service-oriented stay in Tignes, with the added perk of starting the day with an excellent breakfast. It's a welcoming base for ski enthusiasts looking to explore the beauty of Tignes Val d'Isère.

The staff were very friendly but encouraged and at time felt pressured in eating out every night. The options given were a two star inhouse menu which never changed or eating at establishments within their group. The hotel paid for the evening meals but we were disappointed as we had purchased a half board package and received a bed and breakfast service.

+1
Stayed for 1 week half board to ski, hotel provide car to ski lifts which is only 300m away, they also have ski room to store equipment. The staff were very attentive and they definitely deserve 5 stars. Food was top quality much better than any half board I have stayed at, top class restaurant quality. The only thing I would change is a little more choice on the menu it’s very limited, or for the menus to change more often. But food was excellent overall. Rooms are spotless and decor is lovely. The upgrade to lake view is defiantly worth it, the views are spectacular. Great place to stay.

It was a great experience: a warm welcome, a wish for “happy birthday “, a staff extremely dedicated and thoughtful . The hotel is located about 400 m away from the slopes, a shuttle being offered at 8.45 am and 9.45 am.
Breakfast is plentiful, Savoie traditional “charcuterie et fromagerie”. Exceptionally clean
