Affordable and great location to the ski slopes, food was good, room was very clean and staff friendly. The town had some nice restaurants. Walking to the ski life was quick, the hotel had lockers for the skis but there were lockers also at the lift rental location.

The Savoy hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Brides-les-Bains. The room was clean, comfortable and the overall location of the hotel was fantastic for a ski holiday. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. We stayed at Savoy for 2 weeks, so the breakfast got a bit repetitive, but the dinner menu had a variety of different specials each night, which were delicious and very reasonably priced for the area. I would definitely recommend the Savoy hotel to anyone staying in the area. The hotel is also pet-friendly!

Great location in the village: very short walk to the shops and the restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the gondola. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is varied: yoghurts, fresh and dried fruits, cereals, various breads, cheeses, cold meats, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, croissants, pain au chocolate, fruit juice and tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water and warm radiators to keep the cold out. You can sometimes hear people in the neighbouring room or the floorboards creaking on the floor above you but this was not an issue for us as it did not happen late in the evening or during the night.

We’ve been coming to this hotel for 6 years in a row, were always happy and felt at home there. This year everything was again perfectly fine, until the last day.

We were skiing and when we came back, they moved all of our stuff from our rooms to a different room. Apparently, they made a mistake and thought our reservation was 6 days instead of 7, so they were overbooked. But that is not our problem! 2 of our 3 rooms had probably new bookings, so they had to be emptied. Really angry that they touched all of our stuff without our knowledge, moved it through the hotel from the 2nd to the ground floor! We were put in a weird room. The room was literally inside of the lobby and extremely noisy. Absolutely hated the way they moved and touched all of my stuff. This is so personal, it is an invasion of my privacy.

They could at least have waited until we were back so we could do this ourself. We weren’t even called. They had only send an e-mail, which we obviously didn’t read because we were skiing.
All of our stuff was confused. Even my handbag, wallet and money was moved and packed in different bags by them.

After this experience, we will never return in this hotel. This is unprofessional and the way it was handled was even worse.

We always enjoyed the hotel, even if it was by minimalistic. It is outdated, but that makes it cosy. The location is good, you can park your car and the gondola to Meribel is close. The rooms are okay (overall clean), the breakfast is okay, the dinner is okay (not much choice). The young girls and boys who are waiters etc. try to make the best out of it for the hotel and they are doing great. Compliments to the team of this year, they were nice to us. The management is seriously screwing it up.
We were shocked by the way how loyal guests are being treated.

Would always have recommended this hotel, but after our experience this year and the way they handled it, I would nobody recommended to visit.

Sad story, otherwise would have returned for many more years with the whole family, Brides les bains is a lovely place to stay.

This has left an unpleasant feeling at the end of our holiday.
In Dutch we would say: vakantie met een zwart randje er aan

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Our room was beautifully cleaned every day and was warm. We had control over the room heaters too which was great in the cold weather. The gondola to Meribel is nearby (5 minute walk) and was great for our ski trip. The gondola closed towards the end of our trip but a bus service was promptly put in place instead. The spa nearby was really lovely too. The staff in the hotel were charming, approachable and warm. And we loved the raclette evening! Would absolutely recommend.

I got a good deal on Booking.com, so for me it was value for money. The hotel is a bit worn, but clean and practical for Bride-les-bains. There is a ski room downstairs and the breakfast is just like the standard hotel breakfast you'd expect. A safe choice.

Nice normal rooms with full place for your luggage. With french televission, shower room and separated toilet. Two chairs, a small table and a place to put up your pc. And of course a big two persons bed. Small lounge, and a dining room. Dinner is more international than french. Say with a french touch. The service is frendly. And english speaking.

I accidentally booked the hotel for 22 May instead of 22 March. When I arrived, it took some time to work out my error. They then provided me with a room and made me pay, and wouldn’t refund my visit for two months time. I do t care what the t@c’s say. That’s just plain greed. They had two months to recover that booking and didn’t try to help. Pathetic
