#1 of 18 hotels in Quiberon
Travellers' Choice
Behind its large white facade and typically Brittany-style slate roof, the Port Haliguen hotel offers a new face to this old port address in the Quiberon Bay. Clean lines, deco design, shades of red and white: the tone is given in this establishment which counts 21 rooms and a panoramic terrace. Side sea, you will appreciate the sight on the old port and its lighthouse. On the garden side, the interior of the peninsula is unveiled. Here, the choice was made on the comfort and high-tech alliance: soft duvets, LCD screen and wifi access are essential in all rooms. For a family holiday, the hotel offers several family rooms (3-4 people or communicating). The buffet breakfast is served according to 2 formulas (child and adult) to satisfy all appetites. Want to roam the peninsula freely? Opt for the bike rental offered by the hotel and go to discover the beaches of fine sand, the wild coast and its heritage.

Wonderfully located hotel with views over the port and small market square. The rooms were spotless and owners extremely friendly and helpful. Quiet (this was beginning of September) and close to several lovely beaches. Between hired bikes and walking, we got around the peninsula ad thoroughly enjoyed the views and the exercise. One morning, there was the local market below our window (we had been told ahead to move the car) with fresh seafood, fruit & veggies. Will dream about this place during the coming winter & certainly hope to be back!

We have just come back from 9 nights at the Port Haliguen Hotel which was a fantastic holiday experience! The owners of the hotel and staff are very friendly and customer-oriented. We had a cosy, clean and quiet room (chambre comfort) at the back of the hotel looking on to the garden side with a cedar tree. On most days we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with the tremendous views of the port. We hired bikes for our stay which made it easy to move around and explore the Quiberon peninsula including Quiberon town centre, Cote Sauvage and even Carnac. The hotel was the ideal location for excursions and activities, be it for a boat trip of the Golfe du Morbihan or to Belle-Ile. There is a sailing club 2 minutes away on foot, so it is also perfect for all sorts of water sports like windsurfing, kayaking and stand-up paddling. In terms of seafood, crepes and galettes, there are plenty of excellent restaurants in Port Haliguen itself and Quiberon centre which we thoroughly enjoyed discovering. We highly recommend the hotel and would love to go back another time!

We were quite enjoying our 2 night break until the morning of our departure. I went to my car at 07:30 in the morning outside the hotel to find it had been replaced with a market stall. My vehicle along with 2 bicycles had been towed away. We were not informed by the hotel that a market was due to take place. It cost us Euro 125 to get it out of the compound.

A little 2 star hotel which would really deserve one more star. We had a standard room with balcony looking to the port an it was just perfect. Small but everything is just at the right place, new renovated (our very well kept) , spotless clean, a new bathroom with shower (Thank you for the glass cabin and not using shower curtain!!!) and a super comfortable bed from where you can admire the the port and the see! The room had a small balcony and we were able to sit out for a drink and even take some apetizer there before dinner! Beatiful views! Nice and smiling personal, fast check-in and check out. Really everything perfect, just as you can expect fom a small hotel. Nice beaches in walking distance, amazing sunset at the Cote Sauvage. Quiberon is a lovely place, we will surely come back and stay in this hotel again. (and next time we will also try the breakfast!)

Have just spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel overlooking the port. Lovely room with small balcony and great sea view. Room and bathroom spotless with daily room servicing. The continental breakfast was fine with plenty of everything. Both owners could not have been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much bother. This was our second time staying here and I would highly recommend this excellent small hotel. FM
