My husband and I spent 7 days at Castel Izzalini. After two weeks of hectic touring of Italy this was a time to get rested and renewed. It worked. We didn’t rent a car. Coming in on a Sunday required getting a taxi in Todi....More

Staying at the resort gave us an opportunity to explore the area and we were pleasantly surprised will all there was to see. Todi, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Civiti de bagnoregio (a real hidden gem ).Also Gianna was a great host - friendly and very helpful.

Castello Izzalini is a real castle with medevial ambience but very much close to the needs of a guest. Every window has its very own view like a painting! Umbria has very beautiful landscape and the green is everywhere. Izzalini is near Todi where you...More

For car rental costs you may consult the Avis or Hertz web-sites. The closest train station with national rail is Orvieto (33 km/40 minutes driving), but for Rome is better to go in Terni station (51 km/46 minutes). You may also check on the Google Maps.
To rent a car is very necessary, you may do it also in Terni, Perugia and Orvieto, but at the airport they're are always open, instead in the other smaller town they close on Saturday afternoon and Sunday all day. I suggest to book it online as soon as possible!
