We came across this hotel purely by accident as our intended hotel had closed for the season ! We couldn’t have been more lucky as the Hotel and service was amazing ! Damir and Roberto were so helpful and understanding of our situation and went out of there way to look after us and ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay ..the cleanliness and attention to hygiene during the current Covid situation was outstanding . Our room was beautiful and spacious and the views from the breakfast dining area were spectacular , are only disappointment was that we couldn’t enjoy them in the evening as they do not do evening meals . Never less this will not stop us returning to this magnificent hotel and the wonderful staff .Thank you !

This is certainly one of the most special places we've ever stayed. The atmosphere is magical and the team have really gone above and beyond to please us and make our stay the best it could be. And they absolutely delivered it! To start on the first day both myself and my partner managed to damage both of our phones. The hotel team immediately found a way to help us providing a replacement device so we could take pictures, texting etc - It seems a small favour now but it changed how we felt during our 10 days there. The reception team (Rosella and her amazing team) could not have done more. Honestly they have arranged everything we wanted. We stayed in a wonderful private suite (room 516) in the gardens.. the room service was impeccable. The restaurant food and drinks were outstanding. The chef prepared a bespoke wonderful local seafood dish stew for us which was delightful. The pool and the view of porto chevo are wonderful. We were so well looked after by Damir on the terrace, sampling the amazing local wine and cheese, wonderful cocktails that we spent most of our early evenings there. The hotel is so pretty, spotlessly clean, and there is a peaceful ambience about the place. We met the owner's (Stefano and his Wife) who are the most polite and charming couple you can meet. They are proud of the hotel and made our stay ever so special. And upon returning to the UK we received all our photos/ memories safely encrypted via email. Honestly... I cannot recommend this place enough. We can't wait for our next visit next summer. Team Balocco. See you then - Thanks again, Juliano and Kevin

Our stay at Balocco was wonderful. Unfortunately we had only booked one night there before moving on and I missed it already when I left. Next hotel was so bad in comparison. Location, decor, service, staff - everything was great. Want to go back.

Myself and my husband went here for 5 days for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful. The rooms are extremely clean, and the staff was so welcoming and nice. I was recommended to come here by 3 couples who have been there in the past and I’m so happy I decided to stay my visit there. I would definitely go back.

This is a 3 star hotel. I dunno why everyone is raving about this place! First off: No kettle to make tea or coffee Breakfast buffet is ok nothing special And runs out quickly in the morning so we opted to make our own. The aircon didn’t work properly Charged incorrectly for room service items we didn’t even order Ventilation in the bathroom didn’t work It’s very Italian the hotel and is pretty don’t get me wrong, the rooms are very small, the pool is the winner and the garden are very nice with the trees Overall I wouldn’t say this is a 4 star hotel, it’s a 3. I’d properly stay somewhere else than this place nothing what I know now!
