This property has the most gorgeous beach with turquoise sparkling waters. Snorkeling is possible from the beach with some fish in the bay. Our room was a Junior suite upgrade from titanium status and the view from our large deck was stunning. The most romantic beach room we have ever stayed in. The bedroom/living room was large and decorated perfectly. The bathroom was not air conditioned but it wasn’t an issue in June. This is perfect for a romantic weekend or longer. We stayed a week and had a rental car to go to dinner off property. The hotel only has one restaurant for dinner so a car was helpful for that and to go to sailing or other boating trips. The service was excellent with fabulous wait staff especially Ugo & Ciro! The concierge team including Luisella & Juanluca scheduled our sailing and snorkeling tours and helped with a boat rental to Tavolara too

I recently stayed in this most beautiful hotel and it’s after 2 days where I truly felt the spirit of this great place. The warm welcome of Front Office Manager Antonio made us feel part of the Romazzino family guiding us through the history of the place and it’s unique qualities. Moreover the grounds were beautifully manicured, the food delicious and service impeccable. The sea was exceptional and crystal clear with direct access. Very rare to find in Europe. This hotel was very familial and gave us a lasting impression. I hope to come again soon with my family.

Generously kind and welcoming staff are a value added on top of a gorgeous venue. We stayed in two adjacent rooms (a suite and a superior double room) accessed by a private corridor, overlooking the spectacular gardens and sea view. Like the rest of the hotel, rooms are decorated tastefully with local touch. Beach front and terraced restaurants offer a variety of dishes and offer a range of GLUTEN FREE meals, including variety of breads, pasta... From reception to concierge, waiters to guards, spa and hair salon, cleaning staff to the gardeners, the out-of-the-way courtesy and professional services are superlative. Luxury here is indeed synonymous of flawless service and spontaneous courtesy. The gym (Technogym) overlooks the beach and the amazing turquoise sea. Masks are required in all common areas, beach beds and restaurant tables respect the ‘social-distancing’ norms - but we didn’t feel it to be ‘oppressive’, it’s just the way to be nowadays! Thank you Romazzino for making our vacation memorable!

My first impression of Romazzino... I GASPED! (speechless) A through and through top level Luxury Hotel. Beautiful white washed hotel with enchanted view of Costa Smeralda with sailing boats on the horizon. A view to behold. Top notch outdoor fitness centre by the pool is definitely one-of-it’s kind fitness experience. It’s so refreshing to be able to work out while surrounded by an amazing garden with beautiful plants & landscapes. This beachfront Hotel with private beach alone is worth the price. Special shout out to Massimillano, Matteo, Giuseppe, Massimo, Chiara, Antionio & Sergio for your warm hospitality. Special thanks to Luciela (concierge) for all your incredibly amazing restaurants suggestions. (*our favourite restaurant by far is Tanit in Poltu Quato*) Grazie Mille for making Mr.Alex birthday dinner a truly memorable night.

This is NOT a 5 start hotel!! Stayed here in Aug; had 5 suites for family and rented there most exclusive villa (spent a lot of money). We honestly felt like were were getting scammed on everything; just arrived and 4 kids & 3 of the adults were told when we checked in you must have lunch by the pool; the kids had pasta with cheese and the adults had some pasta and self serve apps they had out, $1100 no alcohol. Then anytime we asked for a Taxi to go even a mile up the street they would always get a us a car service; $50-100, again we asked for taxi was told its meter rate etc, never was. Breakfast was horrible; food was not great and the service was horrible. Then one of the rooms we were told we eat 16 special K bars and 3 big boxes of animal crackers (NOT true) we did not even touch this stuff in the room and to be honest I don't even think they stocked the room with these snacks (charged us 100 euro). Spoke to the manager about this and he told us sorry nothing he can do, imagine your renting 5 suites and there most high end villa and thats what you tell us. Another situation happened where I went to the pool bar to get a regular coffee, was asked are you staying in the villa I said yes and the gentleman working there said "complementary". I walked back to the Villa to give my wife the coffee then another family member wanted one. I went back another person was working there made the 2nd coffee then gives me a bill for 35 euro, I asked what this was for he said the 2 coffees, explained to him I was told the other gentleman that was working there said there was no charge. I was to wait and they would call the manager, to no surprise the manger said sorry nothing he can do. That has to be the WORST customer service experience I have ever dealt with anywhere I have been. VERY poor management and the place is honestly run down a bit, again its NOT 5 star by any means.

Dear jaymazz123, Thank you for your feedback. As far as we may understand from your review, your reservation included 5 suites and the exclusive villa at the Hotel Romazzino. In peak season villas' rates include full dining but extra consumptions. Upon arrival you were given one of the options available for lunch, the best one is obviously the delicious buffet by the ocean where the hotel guests benefit with special rates. Since you mention the pool, probably you arrived late in the afternoon and the barbecue kitchen was near to close. At the same time you mentioned the buffet appetizers, so definetely it was barbecue. In both options the bar menu offers pastas à la carte from € 25 -35. The barbecue lunch offers 50% off for kids under 12yrs. To make this bill you should have been at least 10 adults and not villa guests since included. Taxi service is a third party service and our concierge is always happy to assist. The tarifs are moslty fixed ones since the destinations are all well known, and may include supplements according to additional waiting time. For what concerns breakfast, we never discuss on personal taste and opinion. We only feel really sad you did not appreciate our breakfast and would be grateful to you for any suggestion. Most of our guests enjoy very much the freshest locally sourced ingredients with an incredible panorama over Tavolara Mountain and the ocean. The items you mentioned do make part of the minibar offer. We have both healthy bars and crackers, these are very popular among kids. Again, just 16 bars would have cost you €112.. The Villas are equipped with coffee machines, why should one go back and forth to ask for the coffee when there is a dedicated service.. The coffee does not cost €17 in anyway... So this is not clear as well. So as the manager you spoke to. We suppose that in hotellerie, specially in the hotels of our caliber, this kind of issue even never occure: it is never our intention to make a point on a cup of coffee or chocolate bars spent but to assure that our guests are really spending a high quality time with us. We would try to investigate further on your reservation and to see what exactly went wrong during your stay. We believe that in a 5 star hotel like ours the real stars are always our guests: well taken care of, recognized and highly appreciated. Once again thank you for your time and we hope to see you coming back to the Costa Smeralda. Best regards
