Friends recommended this hotel and we stayed for a week in July, 3 couples, all friends.

The best way is to simply get a cab. It is about 25 minutes away. I know that they have local bus lines but with all things Italian sometimes can be a bit erratic. I find cab prices fairly reasonable in Italy especially when you factor in the convenience & luggage factors. You could also ring Samuel the concierge at the hotel before you arrive & he may be able to arrange a meet & greet. I envy you going to Posillipo, I love it there. Hope this helps.
