I could never have imagined a more unpleasant treatment. If you have no other option and have reserved a room in this place, especially try not to talk to the owner. It will turn you into a quarrel that you neglect. Especially if you refuse to pay a "pirate" supplement of 2 Euros and even worse if you decide not to submit to the "fine" of 50 euros for being late. Do not argue, it's useless. pay or go. If I explain myself, I should probably support my conjectures in psychological analysis of which, unfortunately, I do not have. And so far I can get there, but if you read other comments, you will observe remarkable coincidences.

Rudeness and profiteering is all we encountered once we were trapped in this villa wrongly called "sans souci". Being a decent host is not this owner's forte. My biggest mistake is not to have read the reviews before booking but I've learned my lesson, and will never venture blindly into such a rude person's home and feel ill at ease and so uncomfortable for a place I have paid for. Reviews should be the number one guide to base your hotel/B&B selection on when traveling.

We were coming by boat from Barcelona and arriving at 19pm. Boat was delated and arriving at 23pm aprox.(24h trip) As soon as we got signal, wrote him (Michele)and explained the situation, he told us that we had to pay 50€ extra if we were late. After a few mails discussing that, we said It was ok. We arrived there and he has gone without any alternative(23:30pm) Had to find other place and paid 100€. If you run this kind of business u have to be more flexible and emphatic. We would NOT recommend It at all.

The house and its big and beautiful garden is located outside of the city, but it is just 5min by car from the downtown. The owners were very polite and we enjoyed the overnight stay very much. The rooms are equiped in an old style, but still cozy, clean and kind of nice. Even if the english language is sometimes a problem, the 4 stars are well deserved. Maybe 4,5 stars.

We arrived by car and was greeted with a big smile and waived in to park in the garden next to the hens, cavallos and cats in the beautiful garden surrounding B&B Villa Sans Souci. The room price was 50€ and we were offered dinner and breakfast for +50€ which we agreed to. I informed the owners that I had gluten intolerance and it was no problem accommodating for this. For antipastio we got different kinds of cheese and serrano ham, for primero an amazing house risotto, a big carafe of great (!) red wine and for secundo we got thin strips of delicious beef with fried potatoes and for dolce we got gelatto, a limoncello drink and was offered coffee. We are very happy with our stay here and look forward to breakfast! So far this is the best and most genuine place we have stayed in in Italy. If you want to get away from the city buzz and just enjoy an evening with nice hosts, creaking frogs, meowing cats and grazing horses - this is were you would want to stay.
