A quaint b&b near the port. Within walking distance of Civitavecchia city center and the cruise ship port. If you arrive by train however you will most definitely want to set up transportation from the train station way in advance. There are few taxis (maybe 2) and we had to walk for over an hour with luggage on a hot summer day. A great little place to stay. Only drawback is that there are stairs only. Breakfast was abundant and yummy. Service was excellent!

Out of the way location but convenient just the same. Room was comfortable and up-to-date. Shower bath new and clean. WIFI very good. Close to a great restaurant just around the corner. Breakfast food was ample. We only stayed 1 night waiting for a cruise. We were treated first class.

Stayed here for one night prior to our honeymoon cruise. The room was really lovely, airy, modern and bright. Perfect for one night stay. The TV had absolutely no English channels at all which was really disappointing, even the subtitles did not work. The location itself is not great, in a bit of a dodgy area, wouldn't feel comfortable walking around at night time. It is however handy for getting to the port for the cruise ship. We struggled to find somewhere to eat in Civitavecchia the night before the cruise, we walked around for about an hour before deciding to come back towards the apartment and we ended up eating in a small restaurant near us. The food was really lovely, we were the only two customers so we were a bit nervous but it was really lovely food and very friendly staff! The shower was good, but a bit small, and nowhere for setting any shampoo etc. The walls are VERY thin, you can hear absolutely everything, next door were up during the night flushing the toilet and every time they did it sounded like someone was breaking into our room, very unsettling. I would recommend this apartment to anyone using it as a pre-cruise stay - for one night only. Any longer, I would suggest booking elsewhere.

We stayed for one night in the balcony room prior to a cruise, but would not stay again. Europe has a heat wave this summer, and thank goodness the air conditioning worked well. Here are some recommendations: 1/ room needs more suitcase holders (room for one on 40" table), and when you have 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons for a cruise, there should be more place to store and access your luggage. 2/ unit should have at least 2 glass or plastic cups; there was nothing to do (only Italian TV stations, not even BBC news) so we found a small family style restaurant about 4 blocks away for a bottle of wine and water; on return we discovered we had no glasses. 3/ shower stall should have a chest-high wall holder to hold soap/shampoo; there was no soap bar, but liquid soap on sink as well as a shampoo packet, both difficult to handle in small shower stall. 4/ there should be more than 1 chair in the room; especially with 2 people staying. Having said all this, the young lady operating the B&B was very helpful, letting us in 2 hours early (we'd taken the hourly commuter train from Termini Station, Rome (5 euros); and helped by calling a cab (20 euros...Civitiavecchia's standard fare for nonresidents) as it was too difficult and hot to move 2 bags each....expensive but worth it in the heat. We thought the B&B is located in a questionable residential area...we walked as a couple at night but found the area dark and creepy...in my opinion, would not walk alone at night. So for us, we either would have bypassed Civitavecchia and come directly from Rome via the hourly commuter train which few non-residents are aware of, or we would've stayed in a hotel downtown where there was more to do, even though it would've cost more.

We were greeted with a warm welcome. Very bright, clean, modern and comfortable accommodation. Plenty of clean fresh towels. Breakfast was continental. Presented well with fresh melon and croissants, fresh coffee and juice. We traveled by train from the airport, changing in Travestere, 11 euro each, then cab to B&B @ 10 euro. It is too far to walk from the train station with cases. The B&B is about a 5-10 min walk to the cruise port (down hill). If you have mobility issues you may need to catch a cab, I would also advise private transfer from the airport, we had to carry cases up and down stairs (not a problem for us as we are fit). I would happily recommend this accommodation.
