    Salivolpi is an old farmhouse from 1400, situated on the hill where stood the ancient Etruscan Castellina, the old town of Castellina in Chianti is in walking distance. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees, enjoy a panorama that sweeps over the valley, from Monteriggioni to San Gimignano. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Siena, 30 from Florence and San Gimignano. Our rooms with authentic decor in rustic Tuscan style, with wrought iron beds and wooden beams, are equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi and a minibar. A cozy breakfast room, a large garden, swimming pool and parking available for guests.

We thank you again because this is the end of our job: a special memory of Chianti, full of emotions, culture and genuine tradition. Our small and familiar hotel is located just outside the Center of Castellina in Chianti (800 m.) and yes, we usually recommend to rent a car to discover the "vast" region of Chianti well. Our first strenght is to replay to client's E-Mail (even if they reserved on-line) because we really love to create a strong bond with our guests (which continue in the future!). Of course, we love to organize the holidays of the others so our suggestions are great for making an unforgettable visit. So...what else?!     We had a lovely one week stay in this typical hotel. Location is perfect, quiet yet very close to the village and the grounds are beautiful. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. A special mention for the breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

    Beautiful property in Chianti
    Always a great experience. Have stayed at the hotel for many years and have always felt at home. Very good rooms, super staff and a breakfast that will satisfy anyone. Hotel is very close to wonderful restaurants.

    Dear Mr. Frank, the appartment is located in the historical centre of the village, overlooking the Tower. The parking is public and located out of the centre about 500 metres. We wish you a nice day from the sunny Chianti!!!

    If we are not renting a car how do we get around to the vineyards for wine tasting?

    We are traveling to this hotel from Venice by train and not renting a car. How do we get to the hotel?
    Dear Ikaika, We inform you that to get to our Hotel without renting a car the best solution is to take the train from Venice to Florence (Santa Maria Novella train station) and from Florence take a taxi to our Hotel. Waiting to give you our best hospitality! Best regards
