We just spend a week at Villamato. Initially we had a lot of trouble finding the place (navigation sends you somewhere else), as did the other guest (an itinerary send in advance would be a good idea). But Stefano, the guardian picked us up at the Church and from there it's only a 2 minute drive.
The property is beautifull and very well kept, with a great view over the Toscan hills. The pool is absolutly great, the kids loved it. The room, kitchen and badroom are basic, but nice and clean. I think the kitchen good be more well equipped (like waterboiler, salad bowl, tall glasses).

We did not meet the owners, Roberto and Ines. But Stefano took care of us, he is a great host and such a nice guy! He speaks little English though and our Italian is even worse. But even then we had our nice conversations and Google translate helped a lot 😁. And together with the other guest we had such a great time!

A small tip would be to make a leaflet or something like that with basic information, like the nearest supermarket, good restaurants, etc. And things like the WiFi password. Things like that would make it more easy and the place even more great.

We hope to be back soon, because we fell in love with Toscany and with this place! Many thanks to Stefano who made this trip even more wonderful!!

We (two adults, two kids) spent a lovely weekend at Villamato in early October. It's not the perfect time of year for an agriturismo holiday - rainy and chilly, the pool was not open - but we were made to feel right at home by Roberto and his family. The location is lovely - great views of the hills and down into the valley - and right in the middle of olive groves and fields. The location is ideal for visiting Arezzo and other towns in the area (check out Anghiari!). The accommodations were basic but clean and well-maintained.

More than anything else, though, it was our hosts' generosity that made the trip so enjoyable. Roberto helped us with transportation, and gave good recommendations for restaurants in the area. One evening, his parents cooked us a great Tuscan meal, including Chianina steaks (which we bought ourselves) and their own produce. Breakfasts were also very nice - fresh pasties, coffee, juice, etc.

All in all, a great time, and we very much look forward to coming back in the spring!

We have just left after 14 nights at Agriturismo Villamato, having thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Although initially hard to find, once there we were greeted by Roberto and Stefano and made most welcome. Our apartment was beautifully decorated and clean, and very spacious for the 2 of us. We enjoyed having the dogs and cats around, and being on a working olive grove and vineyard added to the attraction. Any minor problems were sorted out quickly by Stefano despite our lack of Italian and his minimal English; it all added to the fun. Would recommend this to anyone happy to look after themselves in beautiful surroundings.

No one to welcome us except by phone, treated superficially as if they were doing us a favor. Unkept garden with dirt and excrement. They even gave us the responsibility of not letting the dog out of the gate, which is poorly managed and not educated. Apartment freezing and not clean.
