In our fourth generation family-run hotel since 1900 we only do it overnight, the structure (the main cottage and garden) has been completely renovated in early 2000. We are located just outside the old walls, more precisely, outside the St. Lorentino less than 1.5 Km from the railway station, 1 km from the historic center, the Cathedral of San Donato and the Medici Fortress.

Quite close to the city centre, this tiny hotel offers clean room at affordable prices. No elevators. The receptionist is very gentle and can address you to restaurants and bar in the city. It could be hard to find something cheaper around.

We stayed here enroute to a son in italy for Christmas. This hotel looked after our every need, quiet room in the back part, put the car in a private driveway and gave us privacy and looked after us very well. And they spoke no English and we no Italian but they had empathy so we give La Toscanba full . Would happily go there again. And the bed was comfortable and all clean and bright!

I very much wanted to like this hotel because it was inexpensive. There is NO air conditioner and NO screens, subsequently, we were ravaged by mosquitos. The bed will do wonders for your back if your doctor has recommended that you sleep on a board. The shower has not seen a lick of bleach since the 60's. But the sheets were clean, I will admit. So, if none of those things bother you, then this hotel is for you! Otherwise, I would recommend something else.

I was completely satisfied with Albergo La Toscana. It was clean, attractive, well situated. The staff was helpful. It is not glamourous but it was as advertised. I would recommend to those who like to travel economically.

La Toscana is in a very easy place to find and you can park right outside the hotel. The rooms are clean and the personnel very nice and helpful. For instance they recommended a nice cafeteria nearby - just 150 meters - for morning a morning coffee, and we even got reduction of prices there for coming from La Toscana.

We were looking for a reasonable hotel near the old city so that we could have dinner and a few glasses of wine in the city and not have to drive back to the hotel. We came upon this hotel, parked in front and were lucky to get the last room for 55 Euros. The hotel is basic, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, the shower heads worked well with lots of hot water - no complaints.
It is a small hotel and there was no breakfast included in the price, but the owner told us that there was a small cafe literally next door that would serve breakfast - we went there the next morning and had an awesome breakfast for a couple of euros.

We were lucky to get the last room here and although it was right next to reception and the entrance we were not unduly disturbed by people walking by in the night. The lady at the desk was also very nice and chatty. The room was fine, clean spacious and better than what you would expect for a 1* Hotel. The price was pretty good and although its outside the centre of Arezzo by a couple of blocks its not tooo far to walk (15 mins). Overall we would recommend this place as a cheaper option.

The Hotel "Albergo La Toscana is good and worth for money, it is economical. Idle for those who do not want to spend more on fancy Hotels. The Room was quite good and big with an extra bed. The Location is convenient, the Centre is hardly 10-15 minutes walk able. If it had a restaurant and complimentary breakfast then would have been great.

Dirty room. Room near the entrance so there's a mess at night for those who enter and in the morning there's a mess for the coffee machine across the street. Bring your slippers because there is dirt on the floor.
Not very cheap (1 night 48)
Flexible check in if you arrive early they say they open late if you leave late check in is earlier (change during the week)
