Lovely stay! Definitely would recommend this to everyone who wants to visit Addo Elephant Park. Location was great, near by a nice restaurant, supermarket and fuel station. Also close to the gate for Addo Elephant Park. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was delicous. Also nice walks near by the river.

Fantastic place to stay, conveniently near the Addo elephant park. Well worth a visit. Clean and tidy place, great staff and a decent breakfast. I have nothing else to say, except that tripadvisors 200 character minimum is stupid.

Good location if you want to visit the dunes and the river mouth as well as Addo Elephant Park. We had the whole house to ourselves and the welcome from our host was very special with balloos and bubbles, since it was my birthday tour. Thanks again!!! The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds. The breakfast was "lekker" and we also got breakfast packages for the visit to Addo Elephant Park as well as for our early departure. A restaurant as well as a supermarket is just in walking distance.

We stayed at the Sundune guest house inorder to visit Addo Elephant park, which is only 1 or 2 km away. The guesthouse is located on the banks of the Sundays River therefore giving great views. We booked the Executive/Penthouse suite, which is huge and has it's own wonderful private terrace overlooking the river to drink sundowners on. Breakfast is very good too. The manager Lianne was outstanding and could not have been more helpful with her customer service & advice etc. We booked a couple of tours(safari & river cruise) through the guesthouse prior to arrival(this is important to ensure availability), which were outstanding The other major advantage of booking a safari through the guesthouse is the ability to be able to do an Addo safari in an open sided vehicle due to it being part of the same company, otherwise if you book with other safari companies they have to use closed in minibuses etc. There is also a petrol station, restaurant & Spar shop selling food, beer & wine etc a short 5 minute walk away. The ability to be able to use a swimming pool in a neighbouring guesthouse was also an added bonus. We would have no hesitation staying at the guesthouse again.…

Everything was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The hosts were very friendly and it is great value for money. I will certainly be back. There is a supermarket and restaurant next door which is very convenient.

What a peaceful and welcoming stay. LeeAnn was absolutely generous and accommodating. We arrived late with no accommodation and with a call from Norman, she jumped to our rescue and made us feel at home. We were lucky enough to share a bedroom unit with a full bathroom, off the main bedroom with a king sized bed (very comfortable) and a 3/4 bed in the intro bedroom. Everything clean and fresh. The TV , aircon and WIFI all had perfect clear instructions, if we needed to use them. And they had rechargeable lights and lamps to cater for loadshedding. LeeAnn organised us around loadshedding and pointed out sites, the beautiful river bordering the accommodation. Fantastic rooms and hosts Leanne and Byron were extremely helpful, they made sure we were really comfortable. Lodge itself feels like home from home and beautifully decorated. Being only 4kms to south entrance of Addo Elephant park was a bonus.

Our family needed a place close to Addo and this was ideal for us. We got friendly service, a good night sleep and a good breakfast and that all just a few km from the South Gate of Addo. We even got informed about when load shedding will be!

Warm welcome. The booked room was not wat we expected. Were upgraded to the room upstairs with kitchenette, lounge balcon and view over grassy garden. Happy with that room otherwise we would have left. Very close to Engen, Spar and restaurant so you can walk. Colchester had no water during our stay but there was a bucket with water from the rain barrel. Also loadsheddings. Bed very comfortabele. Pool is at a place 2 houses next door. Looked good. Staff made a nice breakfast. Not earlier then 7.30 in case you want to leave early for Addo.
