What a charming place to visit . It was everything we wanted in a holiday . The 1st joy was meeting the management who were so very welcoming . What great host. This place in in such a good setting , it’s rural enough to be away from the buzz of the city but has great access to major roads , shops etc . Nature lovers are in for a treat . We will definitely visit here again.

Hi Guys. We happen to be in the campsite when the loud music was played in December. The management came to our site and our neighbours and asked whether the music was a problem. It did not bother us at all and this is a camp site with festive mood. The management handled this very well and there was no problem. We love this place. It is an campsite not an old age home. Keep up the good work.🤗

My family and I are regulars at Sundays - all of us love the outdoors, especially Sundays. I get to enjoy some the best fishing spots, whether its at the surf or river. If the weather isn't great, we enjoy fishing at the jetty, just a few metres away from our camp site. There's enough shade and trees to enjoy family and friends around a braai. Pearson's Park provides a real camping experience for those outdoors lovers. There's stunning scenery, add to that the fresh air and sunshine plus friendly staff equals a really enjoyable camping experience at Pearson Park.

Please, dont waste your money, still waiting for my refund. Managment not interested in there own place. WORST i have ever been too. Loud music, staff not willing to help. No thank you. Next time, i will first read all the reviews, regarding any place. Bart Klopper.

Although the weather was very bad, we had a lovely weekend! Thanks to Rianna and all her organising. Very clean ablution block and all you need in the hut. You are 10 steps away from the riverbank and have a lovely shaded seated space outside hut as well plus a braai. Will definately go again!

I must say I didn't enjoy my stay here. It is located right next to the N2 highway where trucks drive past your tent during the whole night. But the worst thing was all the noisy, drunk people playing loud music until late at night! Heavily overpriced as well, it was by far the most expensive campsite I had seen on my roadtrip, double or triple the price of other (nice) places!

Hi Wouter, Thank you for your review. We apologise that your experience with us wasn't great but we do appreciate your comments and will look into them. We have the non-electrical sites closer to the river which are further away from the N2 and might be a better option :) Thank you

We were so pleasantly surprised to find Pearson park and spent 3 very comfortable and happy nights right next to the sundays river. The setting is incredible and the park is well managed, and felt very safe. Ablutions were a bit old and tired but always clean, and there was always hot water. The only negative I would say is that the peaceful environment was disturbed by almost constant noise from some of our neighbours - loud music and shouting until late at night on one side, and the use all day and much of the evening of a generator by others. I know this is not the park's fault, and we definitely didn't let it ruin our stay. It's just one of those things that you don't notice most of the time, but when you do you can't ignore it! Perhaps rules around this would allow other campers to enjoy the peaceful setting a bit more.…

The setting is absolutely stunning!!! The dunes are just incredible and sitting on the Sunday river's bank overlooking the dunes whilst having a sundowner I just amazing!! The facilities at the resort however, is rather neglected and the noise levels are unbelievable. No rules are adhered to in the resort. We were surrounded by 3 lots of people playing different genres of music as loud as possible. Then there were the arguments and the talks that carried on into the early morning hours as loud as they can possible talk. It is such a pity as the views are just incredible! We camped there for 2 nights as it was the closest accommodation to Addo which was fully booked.

We camped for 2 nights at the river mouth, right on the waters edge, with spectacular views of the dunes and sunsets. Facilities are basic, but hot water showers are all we need. Close to Addo National park.
