The Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa garners compliments for its array of amenities, dining variety, and the all-inclusive package, although it isn’t without its need for improvements. Guests rave about its lively yet relaxing atmosphere, enhanced by live music and entertainment. The rooms, known for their spaciousness and modernity, offer stunning views, but some visitors suggest they could benefit from updates.
While the resort's location is serene and picturesque, the windy beach and remoteness receive mixed reviews. Service is generally lauded for being attentive and friendly, although occasional lapses are noted. Opinions on value vary, with some guests finding the all-inclusive options and activities to be a great deal while others point out extra costs.

For sure hotel infrastructure matters while choosing a holiday niche, But Staff competency makes the whole difference. At Radisson Blu, we were greeted heavenly despite we checked in quite late, nearly 10pm that night after a horrible experience from Salt of Palmar; All credits goes to Nitish, the manager on call at Radisson blu for being AMAZING! The manager is definitely the one who makes the difference when his help is solicited. As soon as Nitish knew that we checked out from another hotel and chose to shift to Radisson, he started focusing on ways to enhance our experience at Radisson and give us the best he could offer.
He was such an attentive, calm and reassuring person who went above our expectations in his organisation skills; he made sure that a superb dinner was ready for us at ocean restaurant despite the late hour. The room he selected for us was awesome and sparkling clean; with a special rose petals decor on our bed each night of our 3N stay.
We invited our friends over for dinner on the next day to celebrate my birthday. Nitish was supposedly off duty on that day but he liased with Rishi who ascertained that we and our guests had a marvellous time; so much that my friends actually decided to stay over and booked 2 more rooms for 2nights. We had a crazy and fun weekend at Radisson blu, food was awesome, the hotel concept is amazing, superior gastronomy prevails, heated pool and spa and rooms with a small private garden; all these made our stay memorable in this hotel.
We have been to most of the 4 stars and 5 stars hotel in Mauritius, but nothing compares to Radisson which exceeds the 4+ stars owing to the fantastic team lead by Nitish and Rishi. Not to forget Ved and karishma whose service were remarkable. Do not miss the incredible cocktails made by Karishma as they are unique. She is a Master of Cocktails and a PEARL for Radisson.
The staff at the buffet were equally amazing. Food at BlackRock was really delicious, thumbs up to the chef and the waiters as well who just know how to display the menu content for a best selection.
Radisson Blu, a hidden paradise on the north east coast of Mauritius..., with people who are trained to make a difference!

The stay at the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very kind and ready to help if ever you need them. The rest room was just the right place for the daily package - calm and clean relaxed music in the background. I felt cut from the world. This is what I was expected for this couple of hours. Food was restrained but good. Drink also okay. The staff at the restaurant was always here to serve.

We enjoyed our stay at Radisson Blue Azuri for 2 days. We had a memorable experience from arrival to departure. High quality of service - a perfect 10/10. The hotel staffs paid attention to every little details which we really appreciated. The hotel honoured our request for bath tubs and rooms close to each other as we were two different families. The room service was excellent. The kids loved the pool area. Various activities to keep us entertained. The heated pool was awesome. The three restaurants provided us with delicious food and even catered for the kids really well as the chefs never hesitated to prepare other food for the kids if they didn't like any of the food that were displayed.
Excellent personnel in all the departments. The did their best to please us. All of the staff were very courteous and approachable. Special thanks to Mr Ved and Miss Karishma at Ocean One, Mr Satthan, Mr Ramesh, Mr Lobin and the other staffs at Le Comptoire restaurant and at the bar - all very dedicated people to their work.

I had planned to stay at the hotel for 2 nights on the all inclusive package. Local spirits and cocktails are included and there is a 600/800 Rupee credit on the card for the à la carte restaurant (the actual amount was never made clear).
The positive point of this hotel is that the rooms are extremely spacious with huge beds and bathrooms with separate bath tubs and showers.
The hotel is a family orientated hotel on a large complex in the middle of a residential complex meaning that residents can use the gym and facilities of the hotel. The pool area is quite small with very limited sun loungers so I'm not sure how people manage if they wake up late and want to sit by the pool. The pool is small compared to the number of rooms the hotel has. There is a kids pool and a separate pool on two levels. When we arrived we were met by screaming kids all after noon, not quite the relaxing atmosphere I had wished for.
The grounds by the beach are ok and the beach is small compared to other hotels I have visited in Mauritius. There's an area where they used to have bed loungers but this has been left to overgrow which again gives a bad impression on the hotel.
Dinner is either à la carte or buffet. The buffet area is very small again compared to the amount of rooms at the hotel. We had to wait for a table for example. The à la carte restaurant is obviously more expensive than 600/800 rupees so you have to pay more HOWEVER there is a 'secret' all inclusive package menu which they don't seem to show/want to show to guests. It is a set menu with 3-4 choices all of which are included within the package, so just ask to see this menu!
Breakfast was just OK but staff are disinterested and service is poor. I found a hair in the bacon so it put me off eating there. Yes they made me fresh bacon, which was a nice gesture but I didn't ask for it and was made to feel guilty for not accepting it. I had rung reception to ask for slippers for the room and was no before they hung up on me, great service! The next day I asked the room cleaning staff and they kindly gave me some.
There is a shuttle bus service at specific times to go to the sister hotel Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette which is an adult only hotel. The service at this hotel is 100% superior to the Azuri complex and a more relax atmosphere.
The positive aspects of this hotel are the size of the rooms and the buffet dinner (if you don't find any hairs).
If you're looking for a lively family hotel this is for you but I wouldn't spend £1000s on staying here.

We came to Azuri for our honeymoon and were one of the first couples from the UK to check in since the pandemic. We were greeted by Alyshia who understood we were exhausted after our 24 travel so kept our check in quick and to the point, she remained helpful throughout our stay with any queries we had.
We booked a plunge pool room, we had hoped for more of a view but it was out onto the gardens. The room itself was very large which meant we had a place to go through some of the rain storms in early October. The housekeeping staff kept the room very clean and did extra touches for us with it being our honeymoon regularly through our stay which was lovely.
As it was our honeymoon, there were a few more children then we would have liked as we left our children at home for a break, we would 100% come back with our kids as it is a great experience for them and for other couples this wasn’t an issue.
The main restaurant food was very good for a buffet. I am super fussy with food, for an all inclusive it is honestly the best I have been to with the options you have. They cooked food fresh and topped up regularly meaning it was very fresh. Due to Covid they were serving food versus people helping themselves which made it much more hygienic. Thanks to Cussons, Selven and Nishi for your great service.
Blackrock if on all inclusive gives you an allowance or a 3 course menu option. Our favourites were the South African steak. A huge thank you to Pravesh who looked after us throughout the stay.
All in all as a resort, we couldn’t have asked for friendlier staff. We were lucky to stay in 3 hotels in Mauritius and the staff / restaurant made this hotel for us an amazing experience. A huge thank you to Nitish the concierge who helped us plan trips away and truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

We arrived at the Azuri just after a cyclone and although the country had clearly been disrupted the resort was clean and tidy upon arrival. The staff continued over the next few days to clear and clean vegetation away making the whole resort stunning.
The beach is cleared of weed daily and the water was like a bath.
The hotel offers the chance to swim from a platform that you reach by boat so you can swim in crystal clear waters. This as well as glass bottom boat trips, kayaks, paddle boards, windsurfing, snorkelling etc are all free.
Plenty of sun beds around the pools, beach and garden areas.
The staff are exceptional. So help and nothing is too much trouble. Vinod, Ramesh and lots of the waiters, waitresses and chefs knew you by name which made the visit very personal.
Food was a different theme each day and of a good standard and choice. 4 star not 5 star but everything was freshly cooked each day and fresh omelettes, eggs Benedict etc made to order. The black rock restaurant was great for an alternative.
Cocktails were plentiful and the local rum very good.
Pools were clean but busy at weekends when locals stay at the resort. We chose to go to the adults only sister hotel which was accessed by a free shuttle bus. This hotel was much quieter at the weekends and lunch there was also a very good standard.
There is a gym, spa and 25 metre swimming pool on site if you want to stay fit and have a pamper. Daily workouts and program of events are displayed on the notice board.
Most evenings live entertainment made a relaxed atmosphere most enjoyable.
We had a sea view room which we were very pleased with. It was well maintained, very clean and stocked with everything you needed. The air conditioning was great.
Well worth getting up early to watch the sunrise which was gorgeous.
We had a 5pm departure and we were able to stay in our room until this time free of charge. As I said earlier nothing was too trouble to make your stay memorable.
We would definitely return to this resort again.

Nothing negative to say about this gem of a hotel with such kind, friendly, helpful people. From the housekeeping staff through to the front of house, there was always a lovely smile and a friendly word which made us feel so special. It was a celebratory visit for us and the hotel booked us into the Ocean One restaurant for a complimentary meal which, unfortunately, had to be changed to the Black Rock restaurant due to bad weather. There were beautiful flowers on the table, a birthday cake and flowers on the bed and the best steak ever! There are staff everywhere to ensure that you get the best holiday with the best service and we weren't disappointed with anything and would definitely return but perhaps in March when, apparently, the weather is a little more settled. Thank you everyone at the Radisson Blu for making our holiday, one to remember.

The only positive which I could take out from my experience was the nice premises of the hotel and its surroundings. It was well maintained and pleasant on the eye.
However the hotel was overcrowded, especially at lunchtime, which seems to be because the hotel had taken much more reservations than it could handle. As a result, service was poor and slow with waiters at the restaurant mixing up orders due to being overworked.
The quality and variety of the buffet lunch was frankly appalling given the standards which the hotel prides itself on. Bar 1 or 2 dishes, the rest of it comprised of dishes you would expect from street food outlets. On top of that, it took 15-20 mins for chaffing dishes to be refilled which was most probably a consequence of the aforementioned overbooking.
Addisionally and without surprise, it was chaotic at the bar with people lined up everywhere for a drink and barmen looking out of their depths. I waited 17 mins for my cocktail to be ordered and served, only to end up with rum and ice on top of juice in a plastic cup! The drink had not even been mixed!
This has been my first and surely last visit to Radisson Blue Azuri. The experience was flabberghasting and even below a 3* hotel by Mauritian standards. For example, they cannot compare to the excellent and noteworthy service and quality which I was provided at Radisson Blue Poste Lafayette.
I certainly cannot recommend this hotel to someone trying to spend some quality relaxing time with the family. Reputation is one thing, but the reality is a real wakeup call.

We were at Radisson Blue Azuri with family during the weekend 26,27 and 28 Dec.... we were 17 persons altogether.
The customer service was really poor, as well as bad quality room and hotel amenities.
Some of us got our rooms at 4 pm or after, since they were not ready. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and a few didnt have 2 beds as requested , where there were kids. The mini bar was empty, in spite of an all inclusive package, and we had 2 bath towels only for 4 persons in a room. There were no spoons for tea or coffee making. No hair dryer as well. One of the back doors were open, and the luggage person delayed in dropping the luggage, and left one of the baby matresses outside another room. The kettle in one of the rooms was not working. The staff were quite rude too.
At the main restaurant, Le Comptoir, and the bar. We had to wait for 20 to 30 mins at the bar each time for a drink, and the attitude was not so friendly as well. Each time we needed something at the restaurant, we had to go ask ourselves instead of a waiter coming to check. At some point the buffet was left with few things only and we were told that there would not be refill, when we had not yet eaten. Same for snacks at tea time...we got leftovers.
Toilets were unclean at the main restaurant.
Disappointed overall with stay since this was our xmas family celebration.
Feedback was communicated by email promptly after stay, but no response received, not even an acknowledgement.

Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble when we arrived. Nice choice at breakfast and everyone in our group was catered for at evening meals. We were a group of 8 celebrating a special birthday and the restaurant manager provided cake and champagne. Pink flowers were scattered in the bedroom which was such a special touch. Rooms were comfortable and all on all it was a relaxing holiday.

Yes, filled with all sorts, although be aware that some items are chargeable.
I believe the rooms have been renovated since we visited in March 24, they look beautiful.
Yes no problem, my husband didn’t wear his long trousers once in two weeks!
We used this guy last week as a taxi driver but he told us he does have cars to hire too. I think it worked out approx 1500 rupees per day and a taxi service was approx 4500 rupees per day. If we visited again we would hire a car. Nobody drives fast and lots of free parking at the beaches. The guys name is AJ WhatsApp on +23057519524.
No need for long trousers at all, just smarter shorts. I was fine in a short sleeved shirt in the evening, it is windy. My wife had a light cardigan, which was perfect
