I highly recommend the fitness team in any case. They work really well and hard in the hot sun! The boys are tanned like crazy. I really hope they get paid very well for all the effort they put in!!!!

Have just spent 2 weeks at the hideaway Royalton. A lovely place to relax. Resort is at the furthest point from the airport with approx a 2hr drive so be prepared. The hotel itself is great. Plenty of bars and places to eat. Everton the fitness instructor is great - how he

My partner and I choose this destination and hotel as our 2 week all inclusive honeymoon trip - it was amazing. The resort itself is stunning. Magical views across the bay which is a private beach for it’s guests. The pools are all very clean and as there were a good amount

We very impressed by the cleanliness in the bars and restaurants and found the staff very helpful, however the big drawback at this resort was the scarcity of sun beds with shade.Only one day in our 2 week stay, a changeover day, was there a vacant shady spot.So we spent each

There are a number of black dogs we saw at night (about 4 ) that sit on the grass outside the Italian restuarant. They were very sh, well away from the path and kept away form the guests so not a problem.

The Dorado was just for the Hideaway guests and Diamond too. We were on All Inclusive and did not give tips. Quite often we have been given an envelope in which to put tips that are then split between staff, but they don't seem to do that at Hideaway.

Re reservations they weren’t always needed but if you wanted a specific time would be preferable in some of the more popular restaurants.

How much do you tip for your meals at an all-inclusive?
Tipping is entirely up to you . If you feel that you have had really good service then give your server a few dollars but the waiting staff don’t hover over you expecting a tip . If you see the same waiters often and you are very happy with the service you could wait until your last day of your stay and give them a more substantial tip . Please remember that you have already paid more for your stay that’s why it’s all inclusive so you would like to think that the royalton would pay there staff accordingly so anything you give them is a bonus.

Have they got rid of the stomach virus yet and are they still taking bookings?
We didn't have any problems when we were there last November. The food was fabulous and we only used bottled water for drinking and brushing our teeth. I highly recommend this resort.

"We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor and had a great view, but I think I would have preferred the 1st floor with the swim-out pool."
"Go for ground floor Hideaway to het a swim up pool"
"Rooms only go up 4 - 5 floors. We had the 2nd floor and still had a very nice ocean view."
"All the rooms are beautiful.... ocean side if you can!!! stunning"
"Building 1 is the only building with an ocean view. Stay away from the ice machine!"
