Great location right on the seafront. The couple that run it are really welcoming and friendly free parking which is ideal as it's extremely busy with cars on the front and parking spaces soon get taken up. Rooms clean and well presented and bed comfy.Great with a kittle and free fresh milk and teabags (PG) and coffee & shower gel fresh towels everyday. We was in room 9 lovely view of the beach and surrounding area from balcony to sit out on and watch the world go bye. Plenty of restaurants to eat out in also plenty to have a lovely breakfast and plenty of shops to browse around in.Plenty of rides on beach and fun fair just of beach for kids to enjoy. All in all great hotel in nice position.

Well, what can I say, smack bang on the seafront, plonked right in the middle of it all but yet once I was in the room (room 1 downstairs), perfect silence. Can imagine the front rooms are even better, larger, with a view, but for last minute, this so called small room was more than adequate for my husband and I. Milk in the fridge, cornflakes on the side, coffee and tea facilities, perfect start to the morning and for a bigger brekkie, just walk outside and choose from tons of cafes. Big bonus - has its own off street lockup car parking. Hotel steps are a perfect spot to sit and watch the Monday evening fireworks. Husband did some Scuba Diving while there, literally round the corner from the hotel. Paddy is lovely to chat with. Price was brilliant for a week. Catherine and Stephan (14 - 21 August 2021)

First time at Bay View. Been visiting weymouth for over 20 years and what a fabulous place to stay. Why didn’t we try it years ago. Cleanliness and friendliness what wasn’t to like. Then there’s Bernie and Paddy what wonderful hosts. Back next year for 2weeks. Can’t wait.

As always we were met by the friendly owners, Bernie and Paddy. The room was ready on time and there was more than an adequate supply of tea, coffee and milk. No where will you be blessed with such a good view of Weymouth bay, that is of course if you are able to be allocated a sea view room. All booked for next year, can't wait!

We have stayed at the Bay View previously but not in the last 2 years with Covid and family matters but it has again lived up to expectations, Bernie and Paddy make you most welcome, place is spotless and without doubt top draw. Would we stay there again…definitely.

Room Tip: The front gets really busy but just allow a bit of time on arrival if it’s the bank holiday weekend
