stayed 3 nights september 2021, short bike trip, had a great laugh with the bar staff and regulars and enjoyed a good few pints. understandably there was no food on offer but were told where to go for whatever we needed and even sorted out a taxi for us. makes me laugh when people pay £30 a night and expect the world! room was dry, warm and slept like a log (Especially after 12 pints and a curry) everyone was so pleasant and nice to us advising us where to go on our bikes, would deffo go back there...

It was last minute booking due to sport event. As we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff, very nicely offered us a free drink at the bar which made our night after a long drive. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. There wasn't any evening meals or breakfast available which I was a bit appointed but we ordered our breakfast on just eat instead. And no showers weren't working. Part from that it was a pleasant stay. The hotel does need work on updating the rooms, water pressure. But remember people hotels have been struggling because of covid.

The place is disgusting, there was no evening meal or breakfast. Ran poorly. Broken furniture, dirty rooms, it’s exactly what others have wrote in the past, so I guess they don’t care. Avoid avoid avoid, honest it was a living nightmare!

I stayed here for one night and was greeted by very friendly staff on arrival. I signed in and although I was very early and just wanted to drop my bag off .my room was ready. I was in the room with the very comfortable 4 poster bed. Beautiful white sheets and clean towels in the ensuite bathroom. The staff go out of their way to please you and ordered me a taxi into town. For the price you pay it's got my vote
