What a fabulous guest house run by Peter and Linda, gave us fabulous room 2.

Every thing you needed, we could not fault one thing!

We had a fantastic weekend in a very comfortable bed.
All amenities needed for a great stay.

Spotlessly clean ,excellent breakfast choice from fruit juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, full breakfast ,just ask and you received it.

We will be staying here again without a doubt.

thank you to Peter and Linda for looking after us.

No trouble parking just arrive at guest house and Linda or Peter will show you their parking places at the back.
See you both again
Kind Regard
Eleanor and Peter McCabe

We had 2 nights stay at Birchleigh and it was a perfect B&B ensuite room - clean, comfortable, spacious and lovely good quality furnishings and decor. The owners were very welcoming and lovely to talk to, providing great information about the area and things to do. Great choice of breakfast menu and excellent food. Very nice breakfast room. We hope to go back soon and definitely recommend. Located well for local shops and cafes. Great base for going walking around the area.

My wife and I booked in to this guest house for two nights. The owners, Peter and Linda made us feel realy welcome. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting places in the south lakes. The breakfast was very good and filling. We would definately consider staying here again.

Spent 2 nights in the Birchleigh guest house on 25/26 August 2016. We where staying for a friends wedding which was taking place in a local hotel.
The hosts gave us a warm welcome and couldn't do enough for you! Room was lovely en suite, with comfortable double bed, tv and beverage tray. The whole house is very clean and modern. Breakfast I could not fault with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and cooked breakfast. We even got a free chat with owners every morning making us feel really welcome! We will deffo stay again when we return to the area and would recommend to everyone!
Thanks!

Excellent location in centre of Grange over Sands. We stayed for 2 nights. Very very comfortable room and exceptionally clean. Facilities are really good with the added touch of fresh milk in a flask for coffee in your room. Highly recommended.

First visit to Grange over Sands (and nearby Cartmel) - this B and B is top notch; friendly, welcoming and spotlessly clean. And a lovely breakfast to boot! (Some thoughtful touches are fresh milk in a flask for tea/coffee in the room each day.) All
in all a fantastic find.

Everything about our stay was worth 5 stars. The rooms are hotel quality, really nicely decorated and spacious, while the en suite was modern and clean.

We were very well looked after and the breakfast is really nice. Fresh coffee and everything cooked to order. Perfect for couples.

One slight note of caution (and this has nothing to do with the accommodation but the town) is that if you want to venture out for drinks and dinner and leave the car behind then make sure you book a taxi well in advance! It might've been because it was New Year's Eve but we found out about this the hard way!
