Guests rave about the view: the restaurant and chalets, situated on a hillock, offer magnificent views of the African bush savannah. All of the 65 double room chalets have air conditioners and mosquito nets, and a choice of three swimming pools between them. Apart from the restaurant and bar there is a wooden platform for sundowners high above the Mopani bush.
Pretty lodges only a short distance from the Anderson gate and adjacent to a fabulous new fuel station which is ideal as there was no petrol available in Etoshia , during our week long visit to the park Great to stay in a lodge that was not various shades of grey/brown and nice seating area just outside your lodge . Lovely design ideas . The main building is impressive with a shop and large outdoor dining area with expansive views , a small pool area and viewing deck No designated area for smokers . Large groups of German tourists dominated the outdoor seating and viewing area which was fine. first come and all that, until you realise the majority smoke and this rolls over into the dining area - there was no escape . Tables are designated by room number and are supposed to be allocated for your stay but it became hunt the table, as the bottle with your number on it moves . Salad table at dinner was excellent but the rest of the food was a let down and the desserts were very poor , akin to substandard school dinners . Although breakfast is served until 9 if you arrive at 8.45am the tables are cleared as is 90% of the food and you are informed by staff that breakfast has finished . The coffee was Luke warm and the hot water flasks were tepid . This place has lots of potential but the staff look over worked and burnt out , the salad bar was beautifully presented and delicious but the rest of the food was really disappointing. The smoking was a big issue for us In comparison to the other lodges we’d stayed in , this one was not up to standard given the price . …

This is a first class lodge with great food and super, kind and polite staff. Very large, big clean pool, lovely grounds. Excellent wine list. Has a good shop and the manager was very pleasant to chat to with tons of information. Ideal retreat after a long hot day in Wtosha National Park.

It’s more like a hotel than a Safari lodge as it big and busy but clean and functional. The food and service are ok considering the number of large groups they have with all meals being self-service buffet style. The chalet rooms are nice and spacious which makes up for the limited communal areas which comprises mainly of the large restaurant and small outside bar. Great location not far outside Etoshas southern Anderson gate and there is a very good new petrol station and shop nearly opposite.

Cute lodges, and decent food. Nothing spectacular but ok value and accommodation. Service ok, nothing great. Buffet dinner and breakfast. Very busy with too many people. Chalets fairly clean. Went on way to Etosha.

We experienced the most exceptional service from the most amazing staff, including but not limited to the reception, front desk, manager, maintenance team and maintenance supervisor Moses, waiters, chefs, cleaning staff and security. We arrived with a flat tyre and everyone helped us to change the tyre and get the flat tyre repaired without adversely affecting our short 2 night stay at the lodge. It was simply amazing service from everyone.

This is a very lovely facility. Rooms are immaculately clean. The beds in the individual chalets are very comfortable. The dining room has assigned tables, many of which are outside in fair weather. There is buffet for both breakfast and dinner. There’s a great deck area to view sunset. The staf was very kind.

This is a spectacular lodge spread out across the ridge of a mountain just outside Etosha National Park with stunning views. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable but a little walk from the main building. Sundowners on the large deck overlooking the plains was just amazing! The inside bar area had a great atmosphere with very friendly staff and was so comfortable with the big armchairs. The offering for dinner and breakfast was okay.

Great place to start your Etosha trip if you are coming from Windhoek. This country is vast and you will enjoy arriving at this place. We saw Damara Dik-Dik on the property which was fantastic. The food was great and the accommodation nice and clean. The only negative is Etosha Game Reserve entry which can take an awful long time. The gate personnel are not interested to get you in the park early so be prepared.

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. It is a large lodge, with an expansive deck and restaurant area. The accomodation is individual buildings scattered across the ridge. You may have a long walk back to the main building, so I advise taking everything you need for the day with you to breakfast! There is strong wifi in the main lodge building and bar area but not in rooms obviously due to the isolated location. Breakfast and dinner were buffets, and had a wide selection for dinner with the menu changing the 2 nights I was there. The lodge is about 10 mins drive to the gate to Etosha so is a good spot to base yourself for exploring the park. Many of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the slow lunchtime service and finding it necessary to correct the bill at checkout (this was slow to resolve due to difficulty using the computer system). Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay here.…

I am a Gondwana card holder and this time around I decided to travel the northern part of Namibia. I booked 5 nights at Etosha safari lodge. Upon arrival the gentleman at the gate informed us that we are not on the list for check in. I had to provide proof of my booking in order to get to the reception area. Arrived at the reception and I was informed Gondwana head office made a mistake and only booked me from the next day. After handing them my printed booking they allocated me to room 14 but I must moved to room 10 the next day. I told them there is no way I am going to inconvenience myself I booked a month ahead of time. The breakfast is average and no service during breakfast I had to get my own coffee where others was served at their table. You are still eating and they are ready to clear your plate. I will not stay at this lodge next time I will rather book at Taleni. …
