We had an evening meal here during our recent visit to Lymington. It was good rather than great! We enjoyed our meal, service was fine and we would recommend The Angel and Blue Pig. It was possibly just unfortunate that our first choices off the menu were unavailable due to them having had a busy day….but it was just a bit disappointing!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as a base for my wedding. Room was spacious and clean. Restaurant area a little tired but you forget that due to the service of Antony and the team. Felt valued and welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.

Accommodated us after we were turned away by many of the pubs as they were full (all were pretty empty) but seems there’s a real staff shortage in the area. Manager welcomed us and food and service was good, only disappointment was we weren’t told it was steak night and it didn’t advertise it anywhere despite us learning later it was 50% off all steaks. Food we did have was enjoyed by all and dog friendly

Had dinner here during our stay in Lymington. A really nice menu and good choice of local beers along with Wojtek being a brilliant host made for a fantastic meal, set on the high st in a lovely town I believe it's one of the older buildings in town and definitely worth a visit

We stayed here for three nights to get away once things opened up again. The hotel is in the best location, right in the centre of the high street and walking distance to the water on the front. We also stayed with our little Jack Russell who was welcomed too. The gentleman who checked us out was so nice and helpful. Equally the lady who served us breakfast was so nice too. Our room was nice and spacious. It was also very comfy. The only small negative our room was facing the main road so the noise in the morning was slightly annoying but it does add to the charm of the hotel. We will be staying again, we love the New Forest and loved this hotel so much. Thank you for having us.
