Attended a murder mystery with friends, really good night, The hotel room is not the biggest but everything you need is within the room. During COVID the M&S garage down the road had good supplies (pre Dinner drinks as the bar was closed) Overall very enjoyable stay Thank you

Recently stayed at Harben House hotel in Newport Pagnell on business for a couple of nights, the carpark is quiet difficult to find as it appears that you are driving into a housing estate, but then once in there is plenty of parking about, the lady on reception was a delight, gave me instructions to my room and explained how things had changed in these times. The room was quite small, but very comfy and clean and it had everything in that I needed for my little trip. The bar and restaurant had limited service because of covid, but I ordered a meal and a couple of drinks the menu was limited and the food was ok. I asked for a taxi to be booked each morning to take me to the local offices and when it arrived the gentleman on reception called me to let me know it was here, all in all a pleasant little stay.

The hotel is well located for Newport Pagnell and Milton Keynes. It is clear and fresh, spacious and bright. Lovely bar area. Just a few minor points let it down. The standard rooms are small but well-appointed. However, the toilet seat was totally broken (why hadn’t this been noticed/rectified when the room was cleaned ?), there were used body wash and soap, and only one plastic cup available in the room.

My wife and I visited this hotel On a Sunday this month. We used a voucher paid for by friends for our ruby wedding. The web site shows an impressive entrance and reception. The girl on the desk was helpful however it was down hill from there. The room was tiny, cold and a little grubby. We had had a long day so we turned the tv on , no signal, so I picked up the phone , dead. So I used my mobile to call reception. Oh sorry forgot to tell you about the tv You can watch it in the bar ! Said the girl. What about the phone ? No comment. So we decided to go down to the bar. It was freezing and this was also the restaurant. We decided to seek warmth and sustenance elsewhere. On our return the heating was now on, But too late. We retired to watch the iPad. Breakfast was ok but by then the weekend was spoilt. But no worries the owners were paid in full. My advice, don’t go here

Dear ChrisJ690 Thank you for taking the time to advise us of some of the challenges you experienced during your stay with us. Unfortunately I believe the weekend you were due to stay coincided with one the recent storms and as a result we lost our TV signal due to a damaged roof aerial. I believe the bar was offered to you as an alternative as that is on a separate connection and we were still able to receive a picture. Whilst I can appreciate this wasn't the same as being able to enjoy it in the comfort of your room, unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to rectify this issue for you during your stay. I would really like to be able to investigate your comments surround your bedroom itself, so if you would be able to drop me a message to gemma.higgs@harbenhouse.co.uk I can look into this in more detail for you and come back to you once investigated. I am really sorry that your stay wasn't as you had hoped it would be, and as soon as I have the details from you regarding your room number and date of stay i will be able to come back to you.
