We booked this very last minute like 10 minutes b4 we were due to arrive after having to leave the local premier in that we had just checked into due to room issues ! Yes the outside looks nothing like the photos on the web page but inside we were given a warm welcome our room number 34 was very clean and nothing was to much trouble for the staff and was cleaned every day to a high standard. Yes out side our bedroom door the hotel is showing signs of wear and needs updating and there is a lot of rubbish in the cars parks . All the staff were very friendly towards and we was not paid to write this review

I recently stayed here whilst visiting relatives in the UK. The hotel is nothing like it is portrayed online. The grounds of the hotel are completely unkept, untidy and unacceptable. There is rubbish strewn in bushes, carpets piled and old fridges in the car park. The bar as shown online is now closed. As for the rooms. The bare minimum has been done in regards cleaning please see photos attached. Staff were abrupt and unhelpful. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

How I wish I had looked at the reviews first - I would never have booked this place. The pictures on their website looked good - do not be swayed. I'm only sorry that I did not take any photos but only stayed about 15 minutes before leaving. Approach to hotel - weed strewn, run down - first sight of a building is not the hotel, this is accessed to the side. Approach far worse - litter, rubbish (old fridge in car park), weeds galore, looks run down. What did it for me was the rat trap by the reception door! Signed in (furniture piled up in a corner), towels drying outside over furniture, told no breakfast, no bar, no food at all! Asked how /where we eat - told order just eat! Room - looked like a cell. There was a mattress in the entrance corridor, illuminated signs showing two parties in two different function rooms and a smell of food! 🤔. Carpets dirty, smell of damp and drains. Could not wait to get out of the place. Would NOT recommend, read the reviews.

We got to the hotel and the view pictured is not the reception to the hotel , that is around the corner amongst what appears to be numerous business premises. On arrival we were greeted by a cheery chap who sorted us a key card for room 1 in the annex or as he called it the other building . We went to the room via a damp smelling corridor to the end where there was an abandoned and unsavory looking single bed , a margarine tub on the floor catching the leak from the ceiling .there were minimal lights at the end of the corridor and the key card did not work . I returned to reception where the cheery chappy quickly changed our room to one further up the corridor (rm 4) we went in and found that the fan provided vibrated and rattled so badly you could not hear yourself . The tv remote did not work , one of the three lights didn’t work there were only two double sockets one of which was part occupied by the fan , the electrics were partially exposed behind a desk wiring channel in the wall . The bathroom was the one exception that had obviously recently been refurbished . I rang our chap on reception and he quickly scooted down with a new fan . I told him that the problems were not going to be resolved and that it was not good enough , we then went out to an alternate room (rm3) this was in a similar state of disrepair with similar problems . I rejected this room and he agreed it was not on . He then showed me the number 1 suite at the end of the corridor opposite room 1 which was an altogether different prospect, roomy , everything worked and entirely comfortable . What saved this review from complete trashing was the final resolution and the great attitude of the cheery chap in reception . A problem not entirely of the hotels making was the lack of a bar and restaurant although this was pointed out in their blurb on the website . Slightly run down overall but sufficient for a cheap stay owing to its vicinity to Windsor

Really decent hotel for the price, two nights cost us £80 or so in total. The beds were quite comfy, air conditioning worked fine and was very welcome considering the temperatures outside. Staff all seemed very friendly and facilities worked great, the shower in particular was far better than what you usually get in a hotel at this price range. As we were going into London, the hotel is situated a 5 minute taxi ride from the train station in Slough. Only complaint was that the toilet took a while to refill, a minor inconvenience. Will stop here again should we be heading in the London area!
