Decided to get away for the night, so crossed the country to Carlisle as we haven't been for a while. Firstly I upgraded the room for I think under £10, for that we got a fridge, A/C, better shower, toiletries, bigger TV ( I think) the room looked new, carpet etc, worth every penny in my eyes. Anyway typical PI, nice friendly reception, room clean, towel nice , think smd soft. Bed comfy as usual, but just a king-size, none of the two singles puched together malarky, much nicer for couples 😜 We booked the breakfast deal, nice tasty and freshly prepared fayre, we were down early so the waitress took our order rather than serve yourself buffet affair, which started as we finished, couldn't fault the place😁. Well done premier Inn 👍

Beautiful, very comfortable room. especially the bed! I had one of my best night’s sleep in a long time. The restaurant staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful! I opted for the “ Meal Deal” which was excellent value. I had a most relaxing stay and I look forward to staying here again!

Room 117. Very clean and comfortable plus room. Complimentary wifi good bandwidth but only one user allowed. Had to keep reconnecting for some reason which was annoying. Main gripe with the room was the road noise which spoilt the quality of sleep. Really liked hotel and room other than wifi connection and traffic noise.

Clean, tidy, friendly, good location, plenty of leaflets of the area. Stayed above the bar / restaurant and it wasn't as bad as I thought as there was football on at the weekend, with the away fans drinking before/ after the game. Only thing to nit pick was the showers pressure.

I stop here semi regular for work and it is always a pleasant experience. The staff are always top tier, friendly, helpful, good conversation. I cannot fault this hotel it’s location is perfect for the town centre and also to get back on to the motorway. One of the staff Kieran always has a smile on his face and greets everyone as if we are old time friends which is a nice touch. I had a query for him this past week regarding a future booking and he couldn’t do enough to help me and reassure with it. Great asset to the team If you are looking for an affordable comfortable hotel look no further than here. The beds are comfortable, room’s cozy, breakfast in the restaurant is always nice too.

During our stay we couldn’t fault the service of any staff member, including the restaurant staff. Unfortunately we had an issue with the shower being blocked in the accessible wet room. The receptionist came over immediately to try to remedy the issue but unfortunately he was not able to which meant that my partner was unable to have a a shower. This was not the fault of anyone in particular but was a bit of an inconvenience. We found the food to be delicious and the restaurant staff to be particularly helpful, especially in terms of ensuring that we were seated in a wheelchair friendly area. They also cooked us a three course meal requested 10 minutes before the kitchen closed as we had been to a a restaurant we had booked in Carlisle only to be told that there was nowhere we could be seated that my wheelchair using partner could access. The hotel restaurant accommodated this without making us feel like an inconvenience at all which was really appreciated.

Just about everything was right: friendly staff, comfortable night and a good breakfast. I'd only mark it down for the rubbish in the car park and the loading bay behind the restaurant, and the could-be-better water pressure.
