What can I say about this hotel - absolutely fantastic. Moses, George and the team that run it are 1st class so friendly and genuinely interested to hear about your day. Nothing was too much trouble - rooms were cleaned every day and there was a good selection of meals to choose from daily. My room on the 1st floor had a view to die for, I could lie in bed and watch the sea, so relaxing. Would have no hesitation booking to stay here again especially in room 113.
Thanks to you all for making my first holiday out of lockdown so enjoyable.

went to this hotel last week with my wife for a little break,we dont live that far from Llandudno, about 30Miles,but we live in the countryside,so its nice once in a while to hit the bigger areas, anyway when we got there Moses(the manager) very kindly came out to help with my wife's mobility scooter,we were checked in by George and given our room key,the bags were taken up for us,a lovely gesture from the owner David Sherrif, who pretty much stays in the background while the other staff get on with it,we had the same table, and same waitress Ramona, every day,she was always smiling, which is something else you dont see very often in today's hotels, the room itsel was had a wardrobe, and small chest of drawers, adequate for what we wanted, and was nice and warm, with a small tv,with the usual channels for free-view. the view was of the car park, but hey we were not bothered, you only sleep in the room. my wife had gone on her mobility scooter to the pier, and was on her way back when it ran out of charge, she phoned me,and when i mentioned it to Moses, fair play to the man he went and picked up both the scooter and my wife,a lesson 2 be learned here about how far these scooters can actually travel on a single charge.what a lovely man. the alcohol prices are on a par with anywhere else,in fact the shorts can work out cheaper with the mixer if u take the house instead of Smirnoff for instance, the entertainment was not bad at all one of the entertainers we know, from when he used to visit out local club. so thank you all at the Four Oaks hotel for a very pleasant stay, and yes we have booked again for next month.

I have just returned from a coach trip to this hotel, I can say that the hotel is a old style hotel not to fancy but the staff, food and atmosphere is absolutely lovely.
We have just booked for another trip next year and we cannot wait to go.
I highly advise you to go for sea view rooms as you can see that they have been refurbished and they worth the extra money.

This hotel is ok, but for the price of the stay you’d expect more.
The is a very honest opinion.
The room looked worse for wear, wall paper peeling away and very old fashioned, relatively dingy in all honesty. The Tv channels hardly worked at all, the carpet had bits all over it it could of done with an hoovering, OH.. and the rather squeaky floor boards.
WiFi? What WiFi..!? The signal was shocking from anything above first floor.
The kettle was a bit old and inside looked like a rust haven, one of the windows was painted shut so no air circulation in a very warm room, the windows were also very low so not great if you have a child.
No plugs by the beds so if you’re anything like most people these days you’d have to charge your phone up away from your bed (we know how you all love social media haha)
The bathroom was ok it was clean and accepting but the shower was a curtain all the way around, temperature of the water was hit and miss either too hot or too cold.

On the plus side we had a sea view room and it was beautiful, and the bed was very comfy along with the pillows. Customer service was good and we couldn’t really complain on that part but in all honesty the rooms definitely need more attention. We definitely paid too much for two nights for what we got.

Having enjoyed our stays at The Four Oaks for many years we were very disappointed to be informed that our booking for June 2022wl was cancelled due to a double booking on their part.

I booked this accommodation 18 months in advance and have also paid deposits at 3 local golf courses.

Beware of this hotel management, it is clear that we have been gazumped and we are now in danger of having to cancel our annual trip to llandudno after over 16 years.

This is not a criticism of the staff but of the hotels faceless management.

The Four Oaks Hotel is the best looking hotel on the sea front with the display of beautiful Colours of flowers The hotel is a great Victorian style and has an old fashioned lift that can only have 2 people in at one time. The single room I had from Friday to the Monday was on floor 2, a room with the sea view and mountain view well worth paying extra for.. the room was clean. the bed was comfortable Tv on the wall a chair in the corner Wardrobe .small shower, A kettle Tea, Coffee, Milk, sugar is provided and also a hair dryer with towels The food menu breakfast & evening meal gives a good selection of a 3 course you pre order the food All the food was excellent delicious .All the staff are friendly polite and go out of their way to help you nothing is to much trouble ,Entertainment is provided every night. with singers to bingo which was great and the bar is good. its a lovely walk from the hotel by the beach to the pier and also to town, I can not wait to go back to this hotel I would recommend this hotel everyone

We stayed here after reading reviews. Not how we saw it. Our room was clean . All areas seemed crammed in. The dining room was packed. Some days they had ran out of poached eggs. another evening there was no vegetables and the beef could have been used for making shoes. Breakfast consists of one bacon one sausage one egg half a slice of tomato and beans. There is toast and cereal. The shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold.,no in between. There was a real shortage of staff. The staff that were there were ran off there feet. Entertainment was poor. Lovely area but I wouldn’t go back to this particular hotel. The staff were nice . You do not get the little bottles of shampoo or conditioner, it’s just a big bottle of some sort of soapy stuff. Take some coat hangers too. You can’t get a wheelchair in the tiny Victorian lift. It’s a shame what I’ve wrote but it’s true.

We spent Monday to Friday here. Porterage was good on arrival. The owner met us after checking in at reception, in order to Pre order the evening meal. He was very abrupt and unsociable from that moment until we left on the Friday.
The staff were friendly and helpful enough, but it was obvious that the owner watched everything they did and couldn’t even muster a smile. He admitted that the hotel was not ‘disability equipped’, as a couple of the guests required a little assistance.
The rooms are basic, but clean.
Meals were Pre order and a bit hit and Miss. Orange juice was offered but as a starter to breakfast or dinner and not as an accompaniment.
Bar drinks were typical hotel prices so cheaper to drink away at local hostelries. The bar opens at 5.30 until 6.30, then reopens at 7.30 to allow bar staff to help with dinner service.
There are no information sheets in the rooms to help with local venues or interest. No contact with reception or for night time issues, as it is not ‘manned’ certain timers of the day and not at all after 5pm.
Electric showers in the en suite accommodation but very hot and Miss with pressure and temperature control.
Certainly would not return in the future. The owner certainly didn’t appear or present as welcoming.

Having just had a 5 day stay at Four Oaks I would like to thank staff and management for a lovely break. Food was good all week, always hot, with a varied menu. Rooms are very dated but also very clean. The hotel is dated but this adds to the enjoyment, especially the lift with the sliding gates and doors circa 1950.The staff are very helpful and friendly

There’s no room in the lift for a scooter. I left mine in reception but took my battery up each night to charge it. Ask the hotel for a room by the lift.
