Many guests consider the Premier Inn Eastbourne Town Centre Hotel a gem for its cleanliness, with particular commendations for its spotless rooms and powerful showers. The hotel's ambiance and attentive service contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that many find delightful. While the central location earns high marks for convenience, opinions on value are split; some appreciate the reasonable pricing, while others take issue with varying costs and meal prices.
Room feedback is generally positive, though a few guests mention dated decor and ventilation concerns. Amenities are well-received, albeit parking fees may add to the cost.

Detailed Reviews
Check in after 3pm was great. I travelled by train from London, Victoria so it took around an hour and a half. The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from the station. It doesn’t have its own parking but you can park all day in the nearby NCP multi storey which is 4 minutes walk. To park there is around £25 a day I think but not sure. There weren’t many staying in the hotel, 2 weeks before Christmas, so I was upgraded to a Premier Plus room at no extra cost. Super fast Wi-Fi was included in the cost of those rooms. They have a small fridge with 2 bottles of complimentary water. Also tea/coffee making as usual and an espresso machine. More comfortable chairs and a king size bed. Power Shower over bath and toilet. Shampoo and shower gel were upgraded too compared to a traditional room. Room was clean, had air con which also provided the heating so nice and cosy. Lifts to the 3 floors. Breakfast was either full English cooked to order or continental. I had the latter so it included juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, porridge toast and various spreads. Tea and coffee. All unlimited. Bit pricey at £9 or £12 I think for full English. Served from 6.30am weekdays or 7am weekends and holidays. Evening meal was varied but I didn’t have it. I understand these cooked to order too and table booking required, serving from 5pm. Checkout by 12pm just involves putting your keycard in a plastic receptacle. All in all a good experience. Staff there are super friendly.

This Premier Inn gets everything right - quiet room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, bath, big TV, easy to check in and check out. The position of this hotel is handy, right on the main shopping drag, near to lots of bars and restaurants and a short walk from the beach. Thanks to friendly and professional staff we were able to check in early (not many staying there in January on a Thursday) and requested a room on an upper floor which they were also able to fix for us. Parking is just around the corner at ÂŁ7.95 at the NCP multi-storey for 24 hours, so very convenient (we could actually see our car from the hotel window). Highly recommended.

The staff here were lovely, Dawn, Jordan and Carly were so helpful. We had small issues - the travel cot strap broke and they immediately replaced it with a brand new one, Our doughballs were rock hard and again instantly replaced. They delivered our desserts to our room, collected towels and were just very attentive and chatty. The Hotel was clean and everything was in good working order.
The kids were happy. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we don't drive, though they do have parking. The pier/sea is only a few minutes away, and lots of resturaunts/shops/cinema etc nearby. We visited for the EMSR and Treasure Island for the kids, and the bus stops/taxi for such places is right outside/a short walk away.

Room was very well appointed and amazed how well the extractor fan was working at excellent level-which sadly not happens other premises.
BUT breakfast was a real shame where portions now tightly controlled when ordered cooked section .Plus no black pudding available-sausage 1/2 sized/bacon tiny strip/mushrooms finely chopped up(rather than whole ones normally served up).Appears no longer allowed to help oneself??Net result was normal plate had poor content.NO decaff coffee available from smart machine where ALL other varieties were available-doctors orders to only drink it. WHY not included??.Hash browns were overcooked and far too crunchy.
Good location right in centre of town -close to seafront/shops/theatres/restaurants/buses.
Somebody somewhere is cutting corners to extreme-very sad to witness being 1st time negative report submitted.
Used other locations in previous years and hope to goodness will be told "a one off"!!
BUT not too sure to be honest.

We are frequent guests of Premier Inns and booked Eastbourne while visiting friends over Christmas. From arrival, every single member of staff could not have been more helpful. Our room was spotless and smelt fresh, breakfast was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Thank you to Jordan, Joe, Briony, Carly, Josh, Jamie & Nancy.

4 night stay for my business at a cost of £455, plus additional £10.99 per day for breakfast. Checkin by Matt was great, he gave me a spare card to slot in so lights and aircon could stay on if I left the room. Had evening meal my first night, again great service from Matt. I had the sirloin steak with salad, this was tasty. Drinks were a bit expensive at £3.50 for a 330ml bottle of coke, but they’ve got to make money someway. I’d booked the full English breakfast but the cook didn’t show up my first morning there so was restricted to continental. This was basic. Fresh fruit salad with yogurt or a selection of cereals. Tea,coffee various juices. Not great value for £9. Was told I could get a refund as I’d paid for a full English but to be honest I didn’t bother. The room was on the second floor. Big room with comfy double bed and spacious bathroom. The shower was powerful and was refreshing after being out much of the day. Air conditioning worked fine. The hotel is situated in the town centre, 5 minutes walk from station and 5 minutes to the front. Had nice weather so that was a bonus. Ate out at the Harry Ramsden’s fish restaurant on the front and the food there was excellent. Overall not a bad stay at all

Just finished our two night stay at the Premier Inn Eastbourne. It was brilliant, superb location a few minutes walk from the beach and right near the town centre though thanks to the sound proofing you wouldn’t know.
We were a little sceptical of having to park in a NCP all weekend however the Trinity Car Park is actually just behind and is well lit and felt safe. We booked Premier Plus for the first time and were pleasantly impressed with the separate floor (air con and a nice air freshener) and a nice air con cooled room, mini fridge and coffee machine. Oh and the ultimate Wi-Fi. The hotel was lovely and clean and the breakfast was well cooked ( Thanks to chef Jamie it was the best we’d had at a premier inn).
Location wise there is Best One corner shop nearby which stocks everything you’d need (and lots of unusual things) and the stretch of the Terminus road running the short walk to the sea has at least 12 different restaurants (Greek, US diner, Spanish Tapas, Indian, Thai, Italian and a Harry Ramsdens).
The staff from the front desk to the room service were all brilliant, friendly, chatty and nothing was too much. With the great local buses you can use it as a great base to explore. Definitely a great choice for a stay!!

Stayed overnight in family room 121. The room was big, but extremely outdated. There was a horrendous mold/stagnant water smell in the room. When reported to management, she couldn't move us to another room but instead plugged a 'prozone' machine in to 'remove odours'. We were told at 8pm at night that we had to leave the room for an hour wh8lst this machine was on. This was a huge inconvenience, especially with 2 young children who were extremely tired after a long day. When we returned, the manager told us she found out that the room had previously had a leak and that the smell was it drying out. Absolutely outrageous. The machine had made zero impact. The room should NOT have been in use as it was not fit for purpose. Also, very confused as to how a manager did not know there was a previous leak. The manager said that she 'felt bad' and wanted us to have a free breakfast in the morning. This was incredibly insulting considering we had to sleep in what was essentially a stagnant swamp and had paid nearly ÂŁ200 for the privilege. I am still waiting for my refund of free breakfast and I have made a claim with premier inn for a full refund, still waiting to hear back from that too. It is absolutely criminal that they are charging families to stay in a room that is absolutely disgusting. The window does not open in the room either, so literally no fresh air/air flow at all. We barely slept due to the smell and stuffiness. It is disgraceful. I think the whole building needs a complete refurbishment and staff need training on customer service. The young man at front desk in the morning from around 8:30am - looks like he completely hates his job and likes to sit on his phone in the restaurant instead of front of house. Breakfast staff are lovely and food was ok. We checked out straight after breakfast. I will never stay here again and it is a shame as Eastbourne is such a lovely place. This disgusting place ruins it. There are definitely better places to stay in Easbourne. My advice is to avoid this premier inn.

Apart from the unilluminated frontage (along with Whitstable) rendering locating it comical, even it a twon centre, the room was manually set to cool. We arrived at about 11 degrees centigrade adjusted the heating to 21 from 18 and after 30 minutes went to report heating failure only to be told 'oops its on cooling', not funny.
Breakfast; advanced notice of no black pudding, two 4 slice dualit domestic toasters which both took > 3 minutes each cycle and no self service rather you had to order. The premium sausages were in fact a chipolata's, a very small unremarkable sausage with no hint of any premium aspect. Unlike Whitstable where we were ignored so long we left without being able to be served some more items, here 2's became 3's and we were over served.
As with my Whitstable comments Premier Inn, I am in no doubt the way 'management' are trying to cope with rising coasts of business is being address in such a way that you are going backwards to once poorer competition!!

Reviews of Accessible rooms are rare but important for all disabled guests.
I booked an accessible room with wet room for my husband disabled with MS.
I then enquired re: the availability of a Premier Plus room direct with the Eastbourne hotel and was delighted to book one. Unfortunately I was not told that there was no wet room so Nigel could not shower for 5 days.
We find it incredible that Premier Inn accessible rooms still contain a bath and no separate wet room shower!! How do the elderly and disabled manage a bath safely?
Eastbourne Central had 4 accessible rooms and only one wet room.
There is a huge issue with the new Silentnight beds in all the Premier hotels. Unlike the very comfortable Hypnos beds these new ones cannot be raised in height as they have the wrong castors. Nigel is unable to get himself out of these very low beds so I have to pull him upright - no good if he was on his own!
We have contacted the Guest Relations Advisor over this issue but there is no solution. We need the bathroom accessories and larger room for a wheelchair so Premier Inn needs to rethink of the needs of their disabled guests.
Premier Inn Eastbourne Centre was in an excellent location - easy walking distance of the railway station & sea front. The staff were all friendly and helpful and Nigel particularly enjoyed his poached eggs & bacon breakfast each morning.

We didn’t actually eat breakfast as it was always so busy, but the days we did enquire the time slots we were offered were 7.45am and 9.45am. So around those times?
Check in is at 3pm or you can pay to check in earlier. Details might be on the website.
If you are prepared to walk about 15 minutes there is free street parking. The NCP car park is very close to the hotel but if you take the car out you have to pay again.
