Stayed overnight. The hotel is very well located, just across from the Towner Gallery, cinema and theatre. That and having its own parking was a real boon and was a big part of deciding to stay there. The beach is about 5 minutes walk away. Staff are warm, welcoming and efficient. I was pleased to have a room overlooking the back garden. It was quiet and had everything you need. It was clean and the bed more than generously supplied with pillows. I am a restless sleeper so my rating relates to that not the quality of the bed. In time the hotel might consider lighter colours in the room as the dark brown wood made it feel a little cramped. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

We only stayed one night but we would not hesitate to stay again , the staff are wonderful nothing is too much trouble . The rooms are comfortable the lounges are full of lovely settees to relax in. We had dinner at the hotel and the the meals were excellent. The hotel maybe showing its age but that is the charm of the place please do not change a thing.

The place was clean, bed comfortable and the staff very accommodating. I moved my leaving date twice and both times the staff accommodated my request and kept me in the same room. The venue is also ideally located close to the beach, tennis centre, restaurants and town centre.

We stayed here on 29th and 30th August in room 16. We thought it was lovely. The room was totally quiet as it’s behind another door off the main corridor so nobody passes. The beds were super comfortable. It’s not a luxurious room (so no fancy toiletries, robes etc) but for the price it’s brilliant. We also ate in the restaurant on the first night and it was excellent, as were the breakfasts. All of the staff were cheerful and helpful too. One of them was saying how hard it had been for them all due to Covid but they were starting to pick up again - I’m really pleased for them as it’s a lovely place that deserves to do well.
