The Azia Resort & Spa garners acclaim for its attentive service and remarkable cleanliness, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment throughout. Guests have lauded the spacious and well-appointed rooms, many of which offer stunning sea views. While opinions on value are mixed due to extra charges for select beverages and minibar items, the amenities, including the luxurious pools and beautiful gardens, receive high praise. The vibrant atmosphere and varied entertainment add to the comfort, though some find the latter repetitive. Its tranquil location near Paphos and beaches is also celebrated by visitors.

We stayed as two families for a birthday celebration.

Communications prior to arrival to organise birthday celebrations were quick and easy, including the booking of an a la carte for the night in question.

The transfer is less than 30 mins and check in was smooth and easy.

We stayed in a premium club room which was large and spacious with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi tub. The view from the balcony was lovely and there were two sunbeds and a bistro set.

Amenity wise the room was great with more than ample toiletries provided and replenished.

The housekeeping was efficient and the room was spotless.

My one sole criticism would be that the hairdryer (built in) by the bedroom mirror was not very powerful - I bring my own but there was no plug socket here to use it or for straighteners etc so i had to take the mirror off the wall to move it near a socket. This is a minor issue though.

The pool was fabulous (very warm!), even at this time of year there were sun beds a plenty. It was clean, well kept gardens surrounding and the sunbeds were comfortable.

The pool service was absolutely fantastic and the staff do an amazing job keeping everyone happy. I really have to say that Leonardo who is there on a placement is a credit and the standard of service he provides is exemplary - he would definitely be an asset in the customer service/event side of the hotel rather than the pool area.

The drinks and cocktails were of an excellent standard, both at the pool and cava bar.

There is no beach directly off the hotel but you can walk out to the right on the coast to a lovely little cove beach where you can rent a sunbed for 2€50 and there is a great little beach bar. The sea was quite rough the entire time we were here but we enjoyed watching the surfers.

Food was excellent, the buffet having a wide variety and of real quality and the a la carte restaurants also. We managed to book most of these during our visit and enjoyed them all.

We travelled with family with children and they loved the kids club and also joined in a number of the activities. You can do as much or as little as you like here.

The gym is ok but only two treadmills and an elliptical with the rest being weights; it could do with better air con.

The staff are a real credit to the hotel all round - another stand out was the lovely Wioleta in the cava bar, she was funny and personable and provided fantastic service too.

Thanks to Ioanna also; we had a minor hiccup with just one part of the birthday celebrations but on raising this it was dealt with swiftly. I would say that you can tell a lot about a hotel and service from how they deal with it when something goes wrong and I have to give them credit here. Ioanna was really lovely all round and was also helpful when I had some queries as my parents are planning to visit.

We really did have a fantastic holiday and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel; we would definitely return.

First and foremost and as other reviews will testify, if there is one thing the Azia Resort gets right, it is customer service! From our arrival and our interaction with the concierge / reception team through to the restaurant and cleaning staff their attitude was first class and better than anything we have previously experienced. Special mention to Johanna of Guest Relations who was ever present and genuinely interesting, certainly in the unlikely event you do have an issue, you will not be short of opportunities to raise it.

Being early in the season, I understand the hotel was at approximately 50% capacity which meant restaurant times and the availability of sunbeds was stress free and an altogether relaxing experience. Both inside and outside dining was readily available although the sparse outside lighting could make later meals a challenge on occasion. The restaurant food was excellent both in quality and variety and the attentive personable staff deserve a special mention.

Our accommodation was unexpectedly upgraded on arrival and consequently our sea view room had sun beds on the balcony. The room was exceptionally clean with an extremely spacious wardrobe and a bath with a shower option. My one slight criticism would be the beds. We requested a double bed prior to arrival however arrived to find two single beds pushed together, made up separately and with a tendency to frequently come apart! However to balance this, our room had a fridge, tea & coffee facilities, a safe and exceptionally quick and reliable wi-fi at no extra cost.

The hotel is located about three miles north from the centre of Paphos and there are coastal footpaths as an alternative to the busy road. However, the local bus service (route 615) which stops outside the hotel runs frequently, is inexpensive and is available at all times of the day.

In conclusion, we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others mainly because of the quality of the staff and the overall aim to provide a first class customer experience.

Returned on 20th April from a lovely 10 day stay to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary. The staff were amazing providing us with a beautiful outdoor meal at sunset with flowers, champagne and a cake. Hotel is a bit remote but we went for the tranquility as we are elderly and just, wanted to relax. The bus does stop outside the hotel and can take you either way into Paphos or Coral Bay which are both approx 15 to 20 minutes away, but outside the hotel itself there is only a pub and a restaurant also a little local shop that has a good selection of water soft drinks, spirits etc and food provisions.
The hotel grounds are very well kept and there is a huge grassed area with plenty of sunbeds and trees for those who want to relax away from the pool area. There is a costal walk at the end of the grounds which has been flagged for easy walking.
Inside the hotel itself , the dining room was very clean and had an amazing choice of food at breakfast and evening meal which could be eaten indoors or under the trees outside, we were half board so I can't comment on the All inclusive options. My husbands only complaint at breakfast was that the bacon and eggs were overcooked !! 5he rooms were lovely and clean and we had 2 comfortable sun beds on the balcony which got the sun from mid day till sunset. Some days the cleaner didn't come to make the room up until nearly 4 PM which was a little annoying is this was when we had gone for our afternoon nap, so we had to move out onto the balcony and one day she didn't arrive at all but that was soon sorted. We noticed in the bathroom there was a little sign about the hotel being Eco friendly and could you please hang the towels over the rails if you could use them again. We did this every day but every day we were left fresh towels which was a little frustrating. I wonder if the cleaners are aware of this ?.!! Not over keen on the blue lighting in the bathroom or the window looking through from there into the bedroom but we kept the blind closed.
Tv in the room but not much use as it had lots of channels but only CNN news so couldn't watch anything else when we went to bed.
All told we had a lovely stay at the hotel and such friendly and polite staff. Thank you all.

We booked this hotel based on the amazing reviews, however for a holiday costing over 10,000 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers I was expecting better. The hotel wasn't bad but for a few thousand less we could have stayed somewhere else with better facilities. The hotel is small compared with other hotels we have stayed in and the main pool was often too busy, with ball games and children splashing you wherever you went. The adult pool is a better option to avoid this. The main buffet was very repetitive, it could have done with other eateries like we have had in other hotels. They had one small snack bar with limited choices. We actually ate out a lot due to the repetitiveness. The air conditioning in the main buffet also dripped next to food and onto people which can't be hygenic. The resturaunts are hit and miss, service being very slow at some and the food not great. The one thing that was better than other hotels were branded drinks with lots of choice. The rooms were nice although our sink tap didn't work properly and the bidet pipe was loose so we couldn't use it. The bathrooms weren't cleaned daily we actually bought our own cleaning products. Overall, the hotel was nice and service was very good, they even had waiter service around the pool, but it wasn't worth the price we payed.

Dear Charlotte, Greetings from sunny Cyprus and the Azia Resort and Spa! We are delighted to read that you enjoyed the lovely room and the branded drinks, although we are sorry to read that some of the facilities of the hotel did not meet your expectations during your recent stay with us. Constructive comments are welcome, however we do wish that you could have given us the opportunity to hear your views while staying with us and we would happily assist. Regarding dining options, the buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking and different theme nights every evening. In addition to the buffet restaurant, a lunch can be taken at the pool area from the a la carte menu (Chargeable) until 18:00. As for the a la carte restaurants, these are open on rotation according to seasonal demands, reservation required. Reservations can be made through our info kiosks located at the lobby and spa area or by scanning the QR code from your cell phone given on arrival. For further assistance, our a la carte reservations team is available at the lobby daily during certain hours. We appreciate your feedback and we hope that you will visit us again in the future, giving us the opportunity to enhance your stay. Sunny Regards, Johanna Englund Guest Relations

My partner and I stayed at Azia Resort & Spa for a week and we couldn’t fault it!

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the staff on reception, our bags were taken to our room where we were greeted with complimentary champagne, wine & a fresh fruit bowl.

Our room was immaculate, and our lovely housekeeper Elena was so friendly and chatty, keeping our room clean daily & topped up with fresh towels, sheets, water & juice in the mini fridge and pillow chocolates of an evening.

The bar & wait staff were so attentive & kind. Throughout the day by the pool a member of staff would come round frequently to replenish drinks and take old cups away. In the restaurant the wait staff would take our drinks order as soon as we were seated. The staff in the Cava Cocktail Bar were chatty, friendly & would recommend new drinks to try. We were pleasantly surprised at how polite and welcoming all staff throughout the hotel were for the duration of our stay.

The pool was lovely, cleaned every morning along with the sun loungers area. Daily maintenance occurred across the gardens, keeping everywhere clean and picturesque.

We had 2 full body massages each in the beautiful spa throughout the week. The staff were very professional, knew exactly what they were talking about & as a massage therapist myself I was extremely happy with my treatments. We were both so relaxed after our first treatments that we booked again for later in the week. The spa was kept clean, soft music was playing, you are given a robe and slippers before your treatment for comfort and they are very thorough with consultations to ensure they provide the suitable treatment for your individual needs.

The food was amazing, wide variety of meals at a very high quality. Different cuisines each day, a range of cold and hot food, desserts, breads etc. Restaurant was well kept, staff were quick to serve and always available to help if needed.

Overall, we had an amazing time at Azia, we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit and we will definitely be returning again! Thank you to all the staff at Azia for making our holiday extra special!

Excellent experience in this 5-star hotel which deserves it.
Warm welcome and exchanges, cleanliness of the premises, delicious buffet dishes with a wide variety and above all attentive staff, always attentive and particularly friendly. Special mention to ILDIKO who came every morning to check on us at breakfast.
The quiet location is perfect because PAPHOS is very accessible by bus via line 615.
We particularly enjoyed an evening entertainment during which many people filled the dance floor.
“Adults Only” spaces are as appreciated as they are respected.
Little tip, the sea view rooms, on the “Adults only” side, are particularly quiet.
The SPA, especially the massage, is of high quality.
Be careful for the French who don't speak a word of English, only Frédéric (manager of the bar/restaurant part, I think) speaks French. Personally, it made me very happy to have the opportunity to get back into English.

Our experience of staying at the Azia spa resort hotel from start to finish was amazing. We was given a room upgrade to a junior suite on the adults only section for our 25th wedding anniversary by the hotel, complimentary champagne in the room and a complimentary massage at the spa given when booking premium rooms. The staff on reception were very attentive especially Sam and Romy. Customer relations couldn’t do enough checking daily if there was any issues with your room or the service we was receiving, bar staff were great and the bar manager was a really amazing guy. Housekeeping the rooms were absolutely spotless and the whole hotel was exceptionally clean restaurant staff very attentive food was amazing with a great choice.
Management gave out an invitation for meeting for evening drinks and canapés to get feedback from guests of any improvements they could make, we felt this was a nice touch.
Rooms were of high quality and decor in good order beds comfortable with a range of pillows. We would recommend a room with a Seaview as this is a must, it was absolutely amazing Paul area clean lots of Sunbeds nobody getting up early to put towels out so you really got a good rest. Pool bar staff coming around throughout the day to make sure guests are okay and if you need any drinks.
The entertainment team were great lots of activities to participate in, Christianas is a really funny guy and makes you feel comfortable when taking part. Evening entertainment was good.
Was able to keep our room on at no extra cost which is unusual for hotels, but they said as they had the room available, they were happy for it to be extended until 6 pm.
Just one of the best holidays we have ever had, and looking forward to staying at this hotel again.

My boyfriend and I visited Azia in September and had a lovely stay. It was my birthday whilst we were there and the staff did a wonderful job of decorating the room, they also bought out a cake during dinner. Overall the staff at the hotel were great, so friendly & welcoming.
Would like to make special mention to Christos from the entertainment team - he did a great job of getting everyone involved in the aqua aerobics and water polo. The pool staff were all brilliant & very attentive and always making sure to clear away empty cups and taking new orders very regularly.

The room was very clean & comfortable. The whole resort is really well maintained and looked after.

The food was good & there was a good amount of choice. The cipro restaurant was lovely & the pasta was delicious!

There were a couple of things that could do with improvement - we went half board and the cost of food & drinks etc was quite a lot compared to other places we’ve been to. For example a club sandwich came to €17 which seemed pretty pricey.
There was also pool maintenance done seemly on a Friday where the sides of the pool would be jet washed for ages. This was incredibly annoying as it was noisy and ruined the tranquility. I completely understand the need to keep the pool clean but feel there could be better times to do this - for example before the pool opens.
We also had a late flight and even though on most days we could pick between lunch or dinner due to being half board - we were told we were only allowed breakfast on our last day which meant again we had to buy lunch when it would have made sense for us to swap to the lunch as we were leaving just before dinner opened.

Overall it was a brilliant stay - we would recommend & definitely come again :)

Overall a good holiday and we have returned relaxed and feeling rested.

Accommodation
*********************

Overall nice, rooms a good, bathrooms small but functional, but mirrors mist up very quickly. We had pool view rooms, with a glimpse of the sea.

Common seating areas such as reception were welcoming and the hotel staff who work there friendly and helpful.

Restaurants
***************

The main buffet restaurant is nice, good food and staff are helpful, BUT vegans and vegetarians be aware that utensils do get used across dishes (other guest practices) and I experienced the station making pancakes and French bread being cooked on the same that makes the bacon. This was raised with Guest Services and the Exec Chef and rectified immediately. They do offer Vegan pancakes etc, so ask the restaurant staff and they will prepare in the kitchen using fresh utensils / ingredients.

We also visited the Italian, Asian and Meza Restaurant, but not the others. The Asian restaurant we highly recommend, everything on the menu was wonderful.

A few staff stood out for us, Irina and Nino in the main restaurant and Tibor who ran all of the others.

Facilities
***********

We used the small gym, which was ok and tennis court, not the spa. The main disappointment was the Tennis Facilities, Rackets were provided and balls, but until I complained the rackets and balls were no replaced as both were not really useable. The Head of Front Desk and Guest Services understood and are discussing with the Spa team who manage this to ensure standards are maintained.

Some minor repairs are required in common facilities i.e. toilets seats and door locks, but I was assured this were being addressed.

Main bar was good and staff very friendly. Live music most evening there was nice to listen to.

Evening entertainment was provided, we attended a few events (quiz (run by the entertainment team), Magician and dancing) and they were ok.

Entertainment team
************************
A lively team and made a real effort to get you involved, without driving you mad. Well done Cristiano who lead the team, great job.

Pool and sunbeds
***********************

A nice pool, kept clean with enough beds around it as the main pool, however, during the high season when there are lots of kids, people are down between 7 and 7.30 to reserve them meaning you get what’s left. Unfortunately for the days the children were here we had to try and match the times to make sure we got something where we could get sun.

We only used the main pool (indoor and adult pools also exist) which was nice and a good temperature. We enjoyed the swim up bar maybe a little too much.

Overall a good holiday and we feel rested

Azia is a relaxed 5* hotel with great staff. We were upgraded on arrival to a Junior Suite which came with access to the premium lounge which was great as it meant we had free tea/ coffee / snacks throughout the day even though we were half board!
The bedroom was lovely, large, with twin beds and a seating area inside and outside. All spotlessly cleaned and well stocked daily by our cleaner Elena who also came back at night for turn down service and a quick chat!
Paul on reception who carried our bags and gave us a tour of the room and its function was really kind and continually made the effort to check in with us throughout our stay.

The food was good and the buffet had a lot of variety and was cooked to a good standard. There were always lots of staff on hand to clear plates/ offer drinks. Shout out to Nino who went above and beyond everyday to speak to my friend and I and give us ideas of what to do if the sun wasnt out!
The Asian restaurant was the best but the food took a while to come, not a problem when it was so fresh! Thank you to Alice for her great hosting at the restaurants outside the buffet!

The facilitilies are good with lots of sun beds, pools and activitites. The staff at reception helped us rent a car and were really helpful throughout!

Perfect for a short burst of sun and relaxation!

My son is 17. Can I book the adult space for the two of us or does he still count as a child?

Dear Steph, Greetings from sunny Cyprus and the Azia Resort and Spa. Regarding your question, over 16 year old's are considered as adults. Kind regards, Christalla Maniatis Guest Relations.

We have stayed in premium junior suites. We are pensioners so no concern for us. I would imagine the children will just be on the sofa bed all in the one room. Regarding all being together, I would suggest contacting the hotel. They really can’t do enough for you. One thing you can be sure of is a good time and plenty of attention from the staff. Hope to go again in Bec a few months myself!! Enjoy.
